I loved how you said you had no business making new starts😂 I say that all the time and then start things anyway. I clear my wishlist and then I visit another site and start a new wish list. I put things in lists and assign orders and rules for myself then I think sod it, life is too short, just start it. Stitchy friends are such encouragers too 😊 the koi pond is marvelous One day I will come to one of your retreats!

Hey Rosie! Thanks so much for stopping by. Yes the Chatelaines are definitely an investment. For my mini just the beads and specialty threads were around £60 and then there’s the pattern, fabric and DMC. I have ordered the kit of a full Chatelaine which doesn’t include the fabric or pattern and that was over £200 🙈🙈🙈 I have preordered Poison Apple from Sparklies. When it was released she announced she was selling them at a discount preorder price. Thanks so much Rosie, I can’t wait for retreat season to begin!!!!

I'm *this* close to starting my first! Your Chatelaine finish is beautiful too! I would love to do one of them someday as well. Could you give us a little information on how you decide what to stitch and how much to stitch on it, etc? I'm so jealous about your Greenhouse of Oddities SAL start!!! I literally *just* sent that link to my daughter as she loves growing things, likes those odd types of plants - Venus flytrap, pitcher plants, etc., and all things Halloweenish/ghoulie/dark. I'd love to do that one too...Have an amazing time at your retreat!
