I feel like The Tomb gets a bit too much hate, for how little time its been out. EE is rather short, and the map is smaller, but I find myself enjoying it infinitely more than I ever did with Liberty. Already did round 100 on it and felt like it was so much better time wise than doing any of the other maps for the dark ops challenge. Might just be because I'm a firm "Origins is the best map" believer, and the Ice Staff gives me that nostalgia, but out of the 4 maps already out in Bo6, I'd honestly say that for right now, Tomb is my second favorite behind Citadel, if not my overall favorite. Also lil side note, found your videos not too long ago, and I always find them just perfectly on my feed right when I want another. Love the balancing of commentary and gameplay, the fact you don't just rush through things. Keep up the amazing work man, all the love and support you receive is 100% earned through your hard work, commitment, and the fact that you are undoubtedly one of the best zombies content creators!
The artifact boosted doppelghast is probably one of the genuinely terrifying things I've ever encountered in cod zombies. Getting potentially one tapped by something faster than you are is scary.
I actually like this easter egg, the only problem i have with it is the step where you have to follow the purple orb just because of how it works in co op. If you wanna do the easter egg with randoms it becomes almost impossible, all players have to follow the orb, and to coordinate randoms to do that sucks.
BO3 zombies still the most exciting for me, challenging but more entertainment when the Easter eggs are completed. Just a personal opinion. Love your channel FPS! Best zombies creator out there!
I really like how simple this map is. Tbh the simpler maps always end up being the most replay-able to me, and this map being super easy to set up while also being imo the best looking map in the game gives it a good score in my book.
Same honestly Especially that it's a map published right after Citadelle Want something more in-depth? Terminus and Citadelle are your buddies Want something more simpler and casual? The Tomb and Liberty Falls are there for you I think that's a good state to leave zombies maps in to develop now another more in-depth map and maybe focus on adding a new mode rather than a new map in season 3 and whatever

This boss is waaay longer than Liberty, you can't just use a injector or the etherealla statue EE to cheese the boss. This boss has multiple different stages on top of the mini bosses in the boss that constantly chase you giving you no time to rest unlike Liberty
Nah this guy is full of it. Trying to flex a lie. The ee itself is indeed super easy and straightforward. The boss DEFINITELY not (The Tomb). I very easily survive without dying on any map up to round 100 and even I had trouble in this boss. I'm sorry but this guy is full of it lmao

This is exactly how I feel honestly, it doesn't deserve to be overly hated. Like I said at the start - it's mid if you compare it to fully fledged releases, but this is a filler experience and provides us with a brand new map, and new content + an awesome challenging boss. Much better than just another Liberty Falls.

Honestly I like the map, visually it’s beautiful especially as you leave the spawn. Love the room with the waterfall it gives really burried vibes from the boss fight.
I feel like this map just feels like a "bonus map" but the art direction in this map feels a lot better than Liberty Falls (but that is my opinion). But the intro and ending I can understand why we didn't get an intro nor a good ending cutscene mainly because of the strike and all that. But still I don't understand why this map was hated so much. Yes, I understand the sentence they said was that the map was more like Liberty Falls was vague, but the marketing for it was honestly vague as well too. But when it came to some RUclipsrs some were disappointed because some thought it was supposed to be an "Origins 2.0" when really it wasn't. But I do agree the staff is a weird wonder weapon for this map, but hey when upgrading the staff it makes the staff more useful and all that. But overall I think this map is great, yes it flaws. Hell, BO2, BO3, and BO4 had some maps with flaws as well, but still I think the art direction is going well with this, but the ending in this map was honestly mid. NOT Saying it was 100%, but it wasn't great and I understand they probably did it because of the actors on strike and all that. Anyways this is all my opinion and I hope ya understand. By the way, I hope ya are doing well man 😊. Edit: Apparently I saw one video by CJ Santa where he basically said Kevin Drew should get his role as director taken away.
The statues step reminds me of a mix of Terminus and Liberty Falls with the soul trap and placing the energy orb in the thing. Actually this map has a lot of stuff from previous maps EEs.
For being a filler map, The Tomb is fine. Admittedly I didn't find the boss as difficult as people as saying it is, but come to find out it was because I had the Vulture Aid Augment to get more Wonder Weapon ammo from pickups. No ammo issues. Shame I need to wait till round 25 to get it if I don't get lucky with the Random Perk. I actually found the part with following the purple orb the hardest part.

I'd give the tomb a 6/5-7/10. I love the aesthetics and the environment as well as the playable areas, but the lack of story and interesting character dialogue is what disappoints me.
i the dark ether if you shot one of the rocks in the sky with a weapon they will spin around then you will have to shoot 5 rocks that are spinning they will stop in place when you got it right and it will give you a free pack 1 and cryofreeze aswell
Oh that's super cool, I love these little side quests. Hoping it's a recurring theme similar to Liberty Falls where it had a TONNE of them even a month after launch.
It's a pretty decent map survival side not ee side, the replayability of the ee is one of the lowest if not the lowest out of the maps we got not just for bo6 too. I feel like the map is from world war z for some reason. Anywho amma go make myself fruit loops to eat while enjoying this HUMONGOUS video lol. Fruit loops before bed hits diff
Here’s my opinion. I think the map, aesthetically, is amazing. I like the underground tunnels, the massive cave and ruins, and the dark aether is kinda cool. My main gripes with the map are that it’s much smaller than the other maps (from what I’ve seen, I believe it’s smaller than Citadelle des Morts), there’s really nothing original going on here (which is a common theme for BO6 like reused wonder weapons and no actually new perks), the EE is (in my humblest opinion) turbo-ass, and of all the perks they could’ve brought back they brought back FUCKING DEATH PERCEPTION. Treyarch were not cooking with this one, but hopefully the next map does better and actually brings back a good perk or something original. At least the Ice Staff is here, it’s one of the only things that makes me want to play this map
Side eggs are cool and easy enough (gold armour has ways to use mutant injectors with timed activation) The boss fight is legitimately so infuriating especially being 1 shot at phase 7...then again I've always been bad at zombies lmao map itself is...meh, not bad, not good, too small, I will play it more just to use the staff tho Overall I'd rate it 5.5/10, have definitely played worse Edit: MKV Is the goat, especially for the multiple audio tracks

No the map looks and is thematically cool. But we literally got a glorified soe pap quest. 4 rituals and an upgrade quest. The content lacks and j feel like we would have been happier to wait that extra month and gotten a better expirience. There are major balancing issues with the boss fights gameplay and the only thing I can say they nailed is the level design. I never feel lost and it looks really nice. Again tho £70 for worse versions of a game that is a decade old is a little dumb imo. Nk hat to you tho. Love the videos
I can get behind this! In a good way too, like it's refreshing to have a smaller fun map, which still innovates and offers new mechanics. Like it's always gonna be better than just having a lifeless remaster, or another "Squid Game" event incident.
I haven't done the easter egg bevause building the ice staff keeps kickinh my buns but i love how hard that is but genuinely think this is a better gun grinding map easy way to grind speciald the side easter eggs are amazing for getting your loadout weapon strong early only thing i dislike is the new perk is kinda useless

I fought the tomb boss four times 3/4 of those times I was solo 2/4 times I used the Krig c then I used the asg shotgun and I shredded him the only challenging part of the powerful elites and specials other than that it’s pretty easy solo

I only have a handful of gripes mainly the skybox in the dark aether being a pixelsted jpeg, that also is static and had no animation

For a map that treyarch compared to Liberty Falls, this map is much harder than Liberty Falls lol, especially the final boss fight. I like the map tho

You can do any of The ice staff parts first you dont have to do the death perception room first
Right, I imagine it's just the Mimic that needs to be done first because otherwise you can't physically see the symbols.

My main gripes with the map are that it’s much smaller than the other maps (from what I’ve seen, I believe it’s smaller than Citadelle des Morts), there’s really nothing original going on here (which is a common theme for BO6 like reused wonder weapons and no actually new perks), the EE is (in my humblest opinion) turbo-ass, and of all the perks they could’ve brought back they brought back FUCKING DEATH PERCEPTION. Treyarch were not cooking with this one, but hopefully the next map does better and actually brings back a good perk or something original. At least the Ice Staff is here, it’s one of the only things that makes me want to play this map

Side eggs are cool and easy enough (gold armour has ways to use mutant injectors with timed activation)
The boss fight is legitimately so infuriating especially being 1 shot at phase 7...then again I've always been bad at zombies lmao
map itself is...meh, not bad, not good, too small, I will play it more just to use the staff tho
Overall I'd rate it 5.5/10, have definitely played worse

No the map looks and is thematically cool. But we literally got a glorified soe pap quest. 4 rituals and an upgrade quest. The content lacks and j feel like we would have been happier to wait that extra month and gotten a better expirience. There are major balancing issues with the boss fights gameplay and the only thing I can say they nailed is the level design. I never feel lost and it looks really nice. Again tho £70 for worse versions of a game that is a decade old is a little dumb imo. Nk hat to you tho. Love the videos

I can get behind this! In a good way too, like it's refreshing to have a smaller fun map, which still innovates and offers new mechanics. Like it's always gonna be better than just having a lifeless remaster, or another "Squid Game" event incident.
Got to the 2 artifacts and poored in around 120 bullets into one and it didn't turn blue so im not a big fan

I haven't done the easter egg bevause building the ice staff keeps kickinh my buns but i love how hard that is but genuinely think this is a better gun grinding map easy way to grind speciald the side easter eggs are amazing for getting your loadout weapon strong early only thing i dislike is the new perk is kinda useless

I fought the tomb boss four times 3/4 of those times I was solo 2/4 times I used the Krig c then I used the asg shotgun and I shredded him the only challenging part of the powerful elites and specials other than that it’s pretty easy solo
