Ya, will see how it goes. This was is my 3rd system between different cars, so far out of the box I'd say his is the best one yet. Screen is responsive and speed is ok. This is only a 2-zone unit, I see that on the website they are updating with new 3-zone units for some cars, must be with faster internal CPU, but so far not available for 5. Will update in about a month and see how well it works.

Hi there, i'm installing this aftermarket deck and I noticed that (in the video) the second wire you unplugged on the original stereo system does not have a matching fit on the aftermarket one, I wanted to know what is the use of that plug, and what is it's function.. thanks
does it connect to the steering wheel controls? mine comes with the answer button for phone. I'm replacing since my son put a quarter on factory radio and it no longer works.

These types of China made/designed OEM replacement head units didn't didn't have stellar reputations 3 years ago, at least for the VW MkV Golf/Jetta. They might've improved things since then.
No, mine did not come with that option. When I took the bumper off, I had the wiring harness for them per-installed but no button on the dash to turn them on. My car already comes with DTDL stock from the factory on the parking lights and I have no interest in changing that at this time.

No, this things chnage too often. Every 6 month new model comes out and old one no longer available. This is an ebay deck, not a fancy brand, so you can just check whats available there now of this type.

@@madhuvarmanidadavolu8006 if all you are looking for is backup camera, id go with www.amazon.com/dp/B084WWXPBS much easier to install and less issues going forward. I went with this on my truck. Love not having blind sports when driving and backup camers is awesome.

What did you do with the USB/aux ports? Did the aftermarket head unit have the harness for it or additional adapter harness is required?
You have to check what the new models comes with. Many now have apple car play and android auto and come with the adapters.

Because I used a wiring adapter everything already there, I did not have to splice anything, it was just plug and play.
