Great video. I had some concerns about whether this bike is rugged enough to handle my style of riding. I think you have shown that it absolutely can handle the most rugged of terrains and riding.
This might be one of the best adverts for an Occam i've ever seen. My m30 comes in next week and I can't wait.

Hello ! Je confirme, il encaisse sans broncher cet Occam ! C'est bien un M10 de 2020, avec une fox 36 en 150mm pour l'enduriser un peu. J'ai également testé le M30, ça va très bien ;)

@@thibautlevel7190 ça y est j'ai réservé mon M30. J'ai prit la même couleur que toi même si j'aimais bien l'orange et bleu, la sobriété c'est bien aussi. Je le récupère dans la semaine prochaine, j'ai hâte. Du coup en attendant je me remate tes vidéos. 😉

Salut, que penses-tu du occam h30 ? Est-ce un bon vélo ? Bon grimpeur ? Y a t-il une grosse différence entre le h30 et le h20 ?

L'occam secoue un peu plus qu'un vrai enduro la dedans, mais il m'a bluffé par sa capacité d'encaisser, et de rester très sain dans le cassant. Une merveille ce Bike ! Le stage de Greg Noce porte surtout ses fruits dans les vraies spéciales d'enduro, mais même sur ce tracé j'ai pu appliquer une bonne partie des conseils 🙂
Enfin quelqu’un sur le meme vélo que moi ! :) sinon belle course il faut une bonne condition physique !

C'est vrai qu'il faut un minimum de condition physique pour apprécier pleinement la maxiavalanche... Mais le jeu en vaut la chandelle ;)

Occam with 150 or 140 fork?
150 on this video. Now, the fork is upgraded to 160 (really great feeling for the moment)
@@thibautlevel7190 Yes i was thinking about a Do It all bike even for enduro use and this seems to be good, other option would be stumpjumper Evo but its heavier and im not sure if It would be as enjoyable in climbs as the light Occam (M10)
@@pier8375 I use my Occam as a do it all bike with two wheel sets (one light carbon for all mountain, and the other really strong and alloy for bikepark and enduro races.) With the setups /tires associated, it's a great balance if you want only one bike for trail / am to enduro / bikepark
Why the race didn't start in the snow?
Because of the covid, normally the Mégavalanche Start earlier in the season with harder snow. That's why this year the Mégavalanche have been replaced by Maxiavalanche. Two little (20min) runs instead of a big one.
@@thibautlevel7190 thanks for the info. Great video by the way. So they are being strict with covid precautions? I want to race my first mega this year, but I want to make sure they are being careful.
@@rubenvor for me, the covid precautions have been respected. It was the condition to maintain this event... The masks were mandatory in most of places (start line, ski lift, administration office etc...). So, hope to see u there this year ! I hope the mega will be maintained 🤞
