Good morning Greg 💖 I'm glad you were able to get in another haul from SAS! You inspire me to try out a hurricane w a candle 💕 I was lucky to see all the newness online for Fall on Monday morning. It was more than I had expected. So I started loading my cart. Turns out it was a mistake and they took everything down! Typical. Soooo sad! My cart was empty booo! I think it's supposed to be released July 1. I'll be ready haha 💕 All the same, I hope you are enjoying your week! 💖💕

I am fairly new to candle collecting and I want to make sure I am getting a good throw when burning the candles. Glad you got more of those black and white single wicks! Honestly, those were some of my favorite BBW products this year. Orange Blossom's my favorite, but Amber really surprised me! What a beautiful scent. Great throw on those! Can't wait to hear what you think of Coastal Cottage. I wanted to hear how it performed before I picked it up.
I will probably start burning Coastal Cottage soon! Orange Blossom is really, really lovely. Those single wicks are some of my favourite BBW products this year too (although, sadly, that’s not really saying much tbh).
I’m a great fan of clear hurricanes, I have several and a few with a coloured glass effect. They definitely help the pool but more importantly for me they catch the soot on the sides that would go up into the room surfaces. After just two days such a lot of residue collects. Well worth getting one. I’ve never bought a single wick BBW as so many reviews say they are disappointingly light so I stick to three wicks. 😊Pauline.
I use a big heavy crystal vase as a hurricane for my smaller candles and it works great; I put my small scented all-soy candles in there and it really improves their performance. I don’t have one big enough for a 3-wick candle yet but perhaps one day... I liked the smell of the Coastal Cottage in store. Caffe Latte was just ‘meh’ for me. I’ve still got Lavender Espresso and Paris Cafe and that’s fine for me for now. Nice score for those 3-wicks! I don’t go through candles as quickly as you so I passed on them, but they do smell good and strong for sure.✌
Lavender and Espresso is superior to all other BBW coffee candles lol. I love the idea of using a crystal vase…! Fancy! Honestly I don’t think it’s usually a good idea to put 3-wicks in most hurricanes. They get so hot.. I’m sure it causes issues for some people. I find hurricanes mostly useful for single and double wicks. Especially small, single wicks with beautiful fragrance.

I have cypress single and lemongrass single. A couple others I did look crooked at. Now I'm curious to burn them. Maybe pick up a few more as they are 75% off now.
Let me know what you think! I was surprised and impressed. I really do recommend using a hurricane in a small-medium space though. I don’t think we ever got the Lemongrass one here in Canada. I’ve never seen or smelled it. Keep me posted!
