  • In this insightful episode, Melissa sits down with Alisa Vitti, who shares her transformative journey following a hormonal collapse at a young age that shaped her future. Alisa emphasizes the complexity and necessity of understanding women's cycles and hormones for overall well-being. Her trademark concept, Cycle Syncing, has become a lifestyle for many women, guiding their daily health routines through the four phases: menstruation, follicular, ovulation, and luteal. They discuss the importance of protecting our circadian rhythm to maintain our biological clocks, suggesting simple practices like getting morning sunlight and avoiding phone screens before bed. Alisa explains how aligning our diet, exercise, and work schedules with our cycle phases helps us feel our best. She advocates for going within and letting our bodies dictate our natural state of being, avoiding plastics, and using fragrance-free products. This episode highlights the crucial importance of women being in tune with their cycles for optimal health.

i appreciate the guest promoting strength training, just one thing bodybuilding is a discipline and sport - the two should not be interchanged. also 2lbs as Melissa mentioned is not heavy, that's your purse ( I think the guest knows that but was being gracious). Great info in this podcast, just wish there would be more clearcut conversation around how important it is for women to combine pilates with strength work (not HIIT) . Especially over 40, its critical.

Wow I think the idea of living my entire life around my reproductive cycle sounds really extreme but this was an interesting episode and I am going to do some research 🤔
