The drama itself is using top idols and actors. The storyline is amazing and the props are no joke. This drama costs a lot I bet. I feel so sad to hear how this drama has low rating:/ Please spread more love to Scarlet Heart.
Yea it's sad how they have such low ratings despite having so many good actors and OSTs... But since the Koreans still have beef with IU and Baekhyun, it can't be helped. It's funny how it's IU and Baekhyun with the worst acting too LOL.

That's true but at the same time, Love In The Moonlight are doing great. Many viewers prefer it rather than Scarlet Heart. Because the story line are funny, sweet and less drama than Scarlet Heart. Scarlet Heart's plot are more on the heavy side. Many viewers prefer to watch LITM during its time slot while for SH they will watch it later on the Internet. Whatever it is both dramas are good😄

It's only been like 30 mins since I finished watching the whole drama and the whole time my eyes were filled with tears for Wang So and Hae Soo. Honestly,I have never cried this much for a Korean drama. I cannot even begin to imagine the guilt and regret Hae Soo must be going through in the 21st century for leaving Wang So first. The way she says sorry for all that as her last line was truly heartbreaking.And I can't imagine the pain and regret Wang So went through when he discovers about the letters. Also I wish Wang Eun and Soong Deuk had a chance to love each other. I also feel really sad for Baek Ah because he lost his love. This drama was full of Heartbreak and love. And anyone who watches this drama will never be the same again. "when the water has run dry, sit and watch for the rising clouds" Meaning: When the situation becomes better,wait for me to come to you I'm really sorry for the rambling. I'm a mess right now. 😢

Seriously though.. this drama is not for the emotionally weak ones. I have never cried so hard and so much at a drama before. The mere thought of Haesoo having to live the rest of her life in the 21st century alone with longing, love and guilt (for leaving Wangso first) for Wangso just has me so damn wrecked.. nonetheless, it was a top-notch drama, super underrated in Korea though..

My favourite ost from Scarlet. It's so perfect for Hae Soo and Wagso's love story. It is realistically heartbreaking. Always reminds of that qoute saying that you will only have one true love and most of the time you don't get to end up with them. That is basically what their story is all about. I wish for season 2 but no matter how sad the ending was, I'm ok with it. Leehi and Epik High were a perfect match too. 💓

So much has happened in these 10 episodes. No dragging of story and no stupid scenes. Even each dialogue has a significant meaning. Its so well planned. I love this drama. It may have a sad ending but it has the most satisfactory endings of all time

Scarlet Heart Ryeo is full with great actors/actress, top notch acting skill, terrific ost, high quality props and make up, and quite detail storyline which was built as similar as the real history. The low rating may be caused by too many conflicts in the drama and the anti mainstream ending although it might be the most realistic approach for the story of Gwangjong Gun and people around him. This drama is worth to be watched and full of valuable life-lesson.

It's November 2022, I made the mistake of rewatching. I knew what it would do. I never healed from the first time. But I did it any way. My only regret in life, is rewatching SHR. Even after 6 odd years?! It's actually more painful this time around. This show broke my soul. Twice!! 😭😭😭

Always reminds of that qoute saying that you will only have one true love and most of the time you don't get to end up with them. That is basically what their story is all about. I wish for season 2 but no matter how sad the ending was, I'm ok with it. Leehi and Epik High were a perfect match too. 💓

I'm rewatching it again after 4 years and wanted to judge it this time like a professional but let me tell you i couldn't even find one fault and I'm at episode 10. So much has happened in these 10 episodes. No dragging of story and no stupid scenes. Even each dialogue has a significant meaning. Its so well planned. I love this drama. It may have a sad ending but it has the most satisfactory endings of all time

Scarlet Heart Ryeo is full with great actors/actress, top notch acting skill, terrific ost, high quality props and make up, and quite detail storyline which was built as similar as the real history.
The low rating may be caused by too many conflicts in the drama and the anti mainstream ending although it might be the most realistic approach for the story of Gwangjong Gun and people around him.
This drama is worth to be watched and full of valuable life-lesson.

But, the song REALLY HIT ME in the last episode, when the little girl tells Baek Ah that her name is Bok Soon, and he goes into flash back while the song starts. It hit me SO HARD. I GOT SO NOSTALGIC, MY GOSH.
