Jim Ford was a horrible person. Bobbie Gentry presented her song Ode to Billy Joe to cokehead song writer Jim Ford. Written out and desperate for a hit Ford took the song to Del Fi records claiming it was his own, trying to sell it. He also approached the label's A&R man Barry White claiming that he didn't feel he was the right person to record the song and suggested BOBBIE GENTRY MIGHT DO IT JUSTICE. WELL THAT WAS NICE OF HIM. Christ what a piece shit. Years later he would still claim that Bobbie stole it from him. He then quit the blow and found Jesus. (Ever notice people only find Jesus after becoming such an asshole that nobody on this planet will talk to them? Ya he found Jesus. I guess Jesus didn't see him first. Jesus: Oh shit is that Jim Ford? Is he walking this way? Fuck, probably wants to give his soul over to me TAXI)
