Seven Minutes in Evan should remain as a very rare unexpected treat. The best ones have been when Evan has something to passionately ramble about, like the studio network and cruise ship disasters.

I love that this game has been going for like 6 years and Evan is still unable to explain the plot to a video game without being interrupted 10 times. Gamey game is pure chaos and I love it.

I think dynamic-wise (and I mean this constructively), it might be nice to have at least one additional person besides Evan who actually likes video games? I know it's hard to replace Ben, and yes he would derail things often, but he would also give really interesting insights coz he was genuinely passionate about the medium. This new season has been a little rough in that regard.
I think this is fair to some extent, though in this example it seems like Naomi and Lena, and Grace to maybe a lesser extent, like games and appreciate the medium. Part of the problem might be the games being chosen to focus on? Given that each episode only focuses on one game, if it's not one that anyone is into, then it's going to be a bit rough in the way that you mentioned. Perhaps breaking it up into slightly shorter segments and looking at two or three games per episode, or more focus on picking games that Naomi will like (and that the guests for that ep will like, though I'm guessing that's harder with scheduling and whatnot), it might help make things a bit more positive? Just some thoughts to build upon yours, I appreciate the show for being hilarious regardless, but I agree with you that the pendulum on the games could swing a little back towards positive and engaged.
Well, Evan doesn’t actually like video games much I think? But Lena definitely does and so does Naomi.
There are so many shows talking about games in detail, I like that this is mostly funny people bullying Evan, and sometimes they talk about video games.
Did you actually watch this episode? Lena went so in depth about the game and it’s mechanics?? Like of all the episodes to say that about, you pick the one where Evan is the only one not interested in the game?! Get better comprehension skills, my guy.
