I'm glad that Q105 is rocking again. It deserved to be reborn. I had to stop listening to the station when it switched music formats in '93. I don't remember the year of the Q's re-emergence.
starts at the mid 70's and goes up to late 90's. and the jingles are jam! the q105 rebirth uses a lot of these jingles played here, including the ending top of hour staging from the "turbo z" package, other packages used were power station, positron, and flame thrower, and red hot! all greats BTW!
The jingles heard here are, from JAM Creative Productions, cuts from "Positron", "Oustanding", "The Rock", "FM", JAM's four-cut American Top 40 package, "The Flame Thrower", "Warp Factor", "Red Hot", "Power Station", and "Turbo Z". Various shouts included.
Askconrad. Glad that you mentioned WLCY. My favorite DJ was "John and Juan". Two personalities voiced by the same guy. It was a riot! Today, of course, with the political correctness police lurking in the media, Juan's character wouldn't be considered "PC", even though he was extremely funny. I miss those days!
What time period is this? Looks and sounds like the late 80s. I liked it at first, but then they were extremely narrow on the type of top 40 and oldies music that the "Zoo" and Mason would play.
Before Q105 could drop JAM and pick up Reelworld's old 2006 custom package for WXKS in Boston (Kiss 108) before 2016, in 2012, Q105 had gotten then-new JAM re-sings of The Flame Thrower, Warp Factor, and Turbo Z, in addition to older re-sings of the American Top 40 package, Red Hot, and Power Station, while the older re-sing of Turbo Z cut #10 returned as the top-of-hour jingle! Q105 itself should have switched to any of Reelworld's classic hits jingle packages!
Justin, they shouldn't have switched to real world jingles to begin with. And they're not the only ones that made that switch. Sunny fm in orlando did it too.
@@northwestgeorgiaradio Fortunately, Q105 should have gotten resings of Reelworld's WLOL, K-Hits, and/or WCBS-FM packages instead of Reelworld's Kiss 108 2006 package that was actually one of their old CHR jingle packages. If you mean WOCL, 105.9 Sunny FM in Orlando had K-Hits as the first of RW's packages to air on WOCL, which either did or didn't add RW's WCBS-FM package to the current jingle composite.
Q105 ROCKS!!!! THE SINGERS ARE VERY AWESOME!!!!!!

Wow... I actually produced this about seven years ago. Cool to see someone has uploaded it here. :-)
How did you produce this?
Well, at least you did put one of the pads in. 🙂
Jingles from KIIS FM, Z100, WABC, from JAM.
Jam Creavite Productions are my #1 choice for jingles!
Turbo Z is such a good package!

Not to shabby!

Flamethrower, Warp Factor, Red Hot, Skywave, and Turbo Z Z100
Wow, this is great!! I hated the whole Power Pig crap and miss the old Q105. There used to be some great radio stations here like WLCY WSUN and Q105.
I still have some old cassette recordings of WLCY, WCWR Dunedin, WILZ Tierre Verde. Maybe I should turn them to video!
In the late 1980’s I believe that Portland Oregon used these jingles on KXYQ 105 FM “ from the big pink tower of power!”
2:57 Z100: New York City Weather….
Okay, come on everybody, we only need one....... more..... like
Noooo!!! Only *one*!!!
Does anybody have the whistle blower they played every Friday at 5 oclock? That was the best ever?
5:02 = 2014! (JAM Creative Productions jingles used from the 1980's to the 1990's, and then again from 2012 to 2016.)
Serving the Universe…..
3:02 to 3:10 the best
Me gusta este para 2014
The reincarnation of Q105 uses a lot of these jingles now.
The best era of radio jingles! Epic.
Totally.
@@djvictorkillaanormalesmusi6684 I am totally agree with you there.
How did you put this video together? I'd really like to know.

Unfortunately Q105 has dumped the classic JAM jingles in favor of a modern Reelworld CHR package.

Yeah, I remember hearing a few of those.
