My issues with the M103 are that its gun depression are subpar as you have to aim for the lower plate on many enemy tier 9 and 10 heavies. Trying to do that on a hill like mines or any hill with the smallest steep incline makes you have to go over it in order to hit the weak points. And with that 8 degrees of gun depression, trying to use it when your hull is enormous presents issues.
Esp. after the graceperiode is removed here is a thought - lets pay more XP for the tanks and get them with the best gun right away - it seems using XP on a gun that will not be used is a politically uncorrect waste - the same can be said for engine, tracks etc - lets pay the Xp's and get the strongest version with no waste

thus i go for calibrated, go through most of the things just like IS4, even upper plate of maus doesnt matter too much, it just boom right through

Depends on your playstyle. Personally, I'd prefer the ST-1 because its basically the M103 but with side armor with decent mobility
this tank is really good but wargaming needs to put the gun cover on the m103. M103 has a gun cover and the tank is op by that gun cover.
