You will always be a legend in the SA metal scene! I have seen you a few times in the shops and each time I talked to you in person you were such a friendly and humble person. You will be greatly missed but sometimes your career is more important because you have a wife to look after. I know exactly where you are coming from. Good luck dude!
Sad to hear you're leaving the band dude but yeah thanks for being open on why and it makes sense. Also a good memory I have from one of your shows is that your dad gave me a black eye in the pit.
Bryan, sad news brother. But life moves forward and if you are in a position where your health is taking a hit you need to step back from it and focus on being healthy. And life as a musician in SA is not easy, especially in this genre of music. I can personally relate to what you are going through in the sense of the band becoming more of a hassle than an enjoyment and you being torn between life and music. You know when I called it quits it's also been around 11+ since doing vocals. Luckily for me I didn't have the vocal problem ( Probably quit just in time), I can't imagine it being a fun ride. But hey dude, I have also been there since the days before FTG with you drolle, the parties at Ricky's house, the old OSR shows (yes the whole 2 of them). When you guys first hit the scene and just Steamrolled your way to the top. You are a champ brother. All the best man.
My dude, I'm so proud of you for everything you've done and achieved with the boykies. Dealing with the decisions, the stressors, and the anxieties that come with being at the frontline of a band is something I'm familiar with, and I can certainly relate to those fears that one day I'd be medically unable to continue with Zom. Too much respect for making this decision, my brother. It's hella tough hanging up those gloves, but I can tell you from my experiences with Betray The Emissary, there is a calming and a peace that comes with laying it to rest. I could not be more hopeful that you find fantastic successes with whatever you put your efforts into. Much love and respect. P.S. My FTG brothers! All the best with the search for a new bra. Damn son you should have took vocal lessons to protect yourself from damage, there are ways to properly do metal vocals :/
