Achievement City honestly feels more alive than any Minecraft map i've seen before. So much work has been put into it and I really hope they can port it into Minecraft for the One. I really hope that, if it is possible to port it, the map size will increase so that the current Achievement City will become an island to the side of the bigger more robust city.
I think most people are thinking it, but I'm just saying it... 4J needs to do an Achievement City download map like they did for Mass Effect and Skyrim.
I'm sure the developers of a game could find a way to download a save file on a game they made and make it into DLC. It's probably how they did the other two.
ChrisOfTheDead I think what they did for the Skyrim and Mass Effect Mash-up pack world saves is they had someone build the structures using reference images.

When you get to the desired height, bridge over to where you want to be and break every block starting with the oldest block.
Achievement Hunter makes my day. Literally. Like, the guys on Achievement Hunter- especially Gavin, Geoff, and Michael- they really make my day. AH makes those meanie bad days go away.
I love how everything i achievement city is like a memorial. :) A lot of the lets plays still have pieces of dirt there, blocks missing, things broken, and it just brings back a lot of old memories, if you look at a lets play and see stuff all over it reminds you of the best parts of those videos :)
I just love achievement city. It actually feels like a city, there's so many fun things to explore and it's constantly growing and changing, so cool to see so many new things over this long.

im working to rebuild Achievement city as best as i can, of course it would be hollowed out, but thats a project im highly considering, then id share it with modio so....lets give me a few hours tonight to tinker with a completely water based map and start it out, if all goes well tonight it may be a project :) im done with halo 4 forge so it will be a nice project to work on till halo 5
Although it may not be the prettiest city ever created in minecraft, achievement city is hands down the best creation in minecraft. All of the unquie and fun ideas the cities (let alone I'm assuming the hundreds of hours to build) AH city is absolutely incredible. It's like an amuamemt park this time and I can't wait to see what they cram into it this year
MegaLamb The only problem is that they have said that they are no longer taking map submissions or Minecraft Lets Play maps/ideas from the community, and I also emailed Caleb this past september about making maps and he said they weren't interested. Honestly, I feel with the immense number of times that Gavin and Geoff have said "I wish we had someone to build all of this for us" in lets builds from Dark Achievement City to things like this video, I really think they would love a map maker t build what the want. The problem being here, is that it is extremely hard to talk to Geoff or Gavin, and the closest I've come to talking to him is on twitter, but he still hasn't responded. :( I would totally build maps straight, whatever they wanted for a full time job :) They make the ideas, I build it, they tests, I modify, boom! :) they don't have to spend countless hours working their ass of to build a lets play, and they can work on something else! :D

royscol09 hey the minecraft alpha edition is horrible when it comes to map size, and in the PC version, if you get lost, and you didn't build your house around your spawn, then you are pretty much screwed for the most part, at least in the 360 edition if you hit then end of the map, then you can find your house eventually because you are limited to space and can go to a general direction, in PC it does end but it takes forever, and I mean a long time
soniicbobomb15 That's why you make a compass before adventuring too far. Compasses always point in the direction of your last used bed. Kind of a silly thing to nitpick about the PC version when there is a solution.
I really hope that for the Xbox One they just get all nine Achievement Hunters together(Geoff, Jack, Ryan, Ray, Michael, Gavin, Lindsay, Kerry, and Caleb) and have them all build their own houses in the new Achievement City.
These guys got EXTREMELY in getting this seed. This map has a great layout and plenty of awesome building locations and natural features to take advantage of. This map really plays in to what these guys want to do.

It's always nice when you build something so freaking big that it's visible enough on a map to be used as a landmark. Even on the big maps. Doubly so if you put in the time and effort to make something that big in Survival.

Idea: how about Geoff and Gavin put out a call to members of the community to help finish Ice Cube? I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who would volunteer their time in order to make that Let's Play happen.
I totally would help them. Besides the possible griefing issue, I think they like building them on their own because they do videos on it, and it would be a better Let's Build if it was just the normal AH crew.

I really hope that for the Xbox One they just get all nine Achievement Hunters together(Geoff, Jack, Ryan, Ray, Michael, Gavin, Lindsay, Kerry, and Caleb) and have them all build their own houses in the new Achievement City.
These guys got EXTREMELY in getting this seed. This map has a great layout and plenty of awesome building locations and natural features to take advantage of. This map really plays in to what these guys want to do.
A lot of times they either add or get rid of the natural Resources
I really enjoyed the Portal House Let's Build regardless of what a bunch of overgrown babies think of it.

Achievement City needs to become a real life theme park!
It's always nice when you build something so freaking big that it's visible enough on a map to be used as a landmark. Even on the big maps. Doubly so if you put in the time and effort to make something that big in Survival.
If the Xbox One doesn't have some kind of importing tool. we will get the longest lets build to date.
What if the tutorial world on the Xbox One version WAS Achievement Island/City/Kingdom/World/Land/Galaxy/Universe?

i dont know why they couldnt import it.... minecraft is such a simple game anyway... it wont really have any big gameplay changes between consoles, only the draw distance and world size will get bigger.

Idea: how about Geoff and Gavin put out a call to members of the community to help finish Ice Cube? I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who would volunteer their time in order to make that Let's Play happen.
And I doubt they would allow people onto their world on the offchance that they would break things.
I totally would help them. Besides the possible griefing issue, I think they like building them on their own because they do videos on it, and it would be a better Let's Build if it was just the normal AH crew.
I think they should do Hitman X but with them in Assassin's Creed skins, being that they did reference it strongly in it

I think they are only going to do it if they can transfer achievment city to xbox one. But i want it to stay on the 360.
