one I idea I have is add more 939 variants, so players who expect a 939 doesn't expect another 939, 939's are pack hunters after all, and what about a bag item that can disable 096's face type rage so only shooting him angers him, but to balance it, a photo of 096's face which triggers him, even if he's all the way at entrance.

I would love to fake a conversation with a soundbite, that sounds awesome and rewarding! 049 talking with the iconic CB filter would be BEAUTIFUL! To be honest that is bad. 1 what if 049 doesn’t spawn.2 what about zombies ganging up on you. Unless there is a containment chamber like 012 where you need to it to get an item. I don’t see how 716 will be added
@@oscarfhdjsn3933 Point 1 could be addressed by making the ring dependent on 049 to spawn so that it doesn't spawn unless 049 spawns, and point 2 is just part of the risk factor for using the item, though I guess it could just make your stamina drain faster like wearing heavy armor.

I feel like a major issue with adding certain scps is that some of them would either play to similar to the ones we got, or would have to come out with items that allow you to fight them. For example, 966 is a really cool idea and would be fun, until you realize that you can’t see him, and that no fun. Now you could just add in an item like the night vision goggles to counteract this, but that would remove the entire point of playing 966, unless you give him special abilities to help him from just being gunned down. 457 would be fun, but how would you fight him? Fire extinguishers would be an interesting addition, but that would mean that you are required to use a niche weapon against a niche scp.
I would say having only a limited number of NVG would be best, although if 914 could turn it into the blue version (xray version) that would be a huge problem for people who dont have it. 457 would practically be 049 with a burn effect instead of cardiac arrest.
If you can “kill” 096 with bullets there is no reason why you can’t shoot 457. Also there are already items that can counter one specific sip. Like flash bangs against 939.

Scpsl has had around 10 updates in the last year, out of those updates, only very few actually added a new item Of the ones that did add new items, 50% of those updates were limited time The other 50% were new guns, out of those, 1 is only obtainable in 914 and adds nothing to the gameplay loop (even though it’s the most badass gun in the game) All I want is for the devs to properly recognise what got the game popular in the first place, I know they love guns and making guns, which you can see in how they’re made and how polished they are (aside from apparently the revolver, never heard anyone be mad about that before), but the game isn’t known for its gunplay or competitive nature. It’s known for being goofy multiplayer scp game I want my goofy scp items because that’s what’s good content and brings people to the game Most videos about the game that have 1mil views or more are funny moments or something like that I’ve got much more to say but that may be something for the future
Seeing the recent interview with Hubert by Iceyguy confirms they are more interested in the shooter aspect of the game than SCPs right now. It's a balancing act, but for now they're focusing on the sweaty gun guys
Alot of people saying surface needs and update, which is true but for map design id like to see elevators get updated first because from my experience 50% of games the SPCs resort to camping the gate elevators. That is extremely boring and hard to fight against. Maybe replace them with large cargo elevators (small enough for a grenade to hit still) that open up on more than one side.
If you were to rework surface those elevators are kinda tied to the hip. Surface update would mostly like change the elevator system because they are intertwined.
I think it would be nice to have more than 1 939 in a match, I think that even used to happen but I never see it anymore. And expand the map. As the game stands right now light decontamination is 0 threat and only an inconvenience because you cant access 914, with a larger more confusing light it would be scary again like it felt for the first handful of matches each player experiences. That could also go hand in hand with adding more SCPs since I don't think it would be fun if we just got Northwood to add more hallways to each zone, new rooms with new functions or new SCPs would shake things up in a way I feel the game has really needed for a long time now
Serpent hand would be cool the serpent hand need to help SCPs escape but still being hostile to SCPs like 137 096 the SCPs that would be escape would be like 105 666-j
The current number of scp players per round is fine and needs no tweaking. It's around 1 per 5 players. We just need more playable scps for the variety.
@@WarlungI think what the commenter meant was adding more SCPs so high player servers have a bit more variety on the SCP team instead of the already in game 6 every match confirmed. The idea is having like 10 playable SCPs but only 6-7 being picked at a time to be in a round.

SCP SL would benefit a lot from more variety in game. 939 variants, more rooms with a spawning chance perhaps, more randomized maps to kill off the stick to the edges meta, more SCPs, items, SCP items, weapons, factions, JUST ADD STUFF TO THE GAME. We only had balance changes and event-locked SCPs for a very long time.

I think if Northwood is going to give us an item used for suicide bombing, it should be its own separate thing. my opinion, add scp 001-j in the glass crates with a 0.5% chance of spawning each round and locked behind 05 keycard scanner instead of the normal glass crate ones

This would also make SCPs not be able to play the game, and 049, 106, and 096 wouldn't be able to walk through heavy containment and entrance zone.

@@Warlung That's something that I think probably should be changed when it comes to balance, a 05 card should be extremely rare if not the rarest card to get so the fact that you can just make them in no time with 914 makes the whole card system a joke, even Containment Breach had the 05 card but it was locked behind several walls that you had to climb over in order to even obtain it with 914.
Scp 999. Is a playable/non-playable character. Has a 15% chance for an average server to be the 999 player for all, while larger servers have a reduced chance of 8.5%. 999 is a non-killable scp that can only be killed by either 1. Suicide and pink candy, or 2. Zombies and micro. 999 is a human-helper with the passive ability to "cure"/heal players in a 1.5 meter radius every 2hp per 10 seconds. Scp-999 has a 5% chance of being able to cure a zombie and make that zombie a serpent hand. 999 will be slightly faster than a person on "a" cola. 999 will have the option to help everyone in a game - be it scp or not - and get a 25% speed and 10% health boost. 999 also has the slight 1% chance of turning "evil" after nuke has gone off, and will be able to consume the bodies of dead player and get a 40% attack boost to the last team body it has eaten. This is why some modded servers like chaos and brights are currently very popular, they have a lot of new content and some playable scps (even if they do become a sweaty shitshow sometimes)

Now if you meant there needs to be more than just pc to talk to other players yes I think a lot of us want that. There is also skeleton but that’s a Halloween only scp but some servers still have him active and his way of speaking to other players isn’t completely direct like old dog or 079
You really want to compare roblox with Secret Lab? Hate to break it to you, but the versions on Roblox tend to stray further away from the source material than anything SL has done thus far.

You clearly don't care about SCPs or how they work so long as they're in the game. 096 should only be able to kill who looked at him and have a marker on the person until they die.
Please add a round ender and anti camp feature I know we have nuke and breach scanner, but nuke is just an area for people to fight over and I can think of only 1 time breach scanner did anything
They should make 999. 999 would heal humans and can’t be hurt by humans nor SCPs. It does not hurt any other teams either. Their win condition is any human victory and does not count towards the SCPs that need to be terminated or ‘contained’.
Very good video overall! I've been waiting for that new SCP for years man, when is it coming 😭 In all seriousness, I do think new SCPs should be experimented with, as having the same SCPs for 5 years, and actually losing a couple, this games gameplay has become quite stale. There needs to be a new SCP to spice it up and add some more flavor into the gameplay.

the jade ring is a great idea, because if used like in CB, it would drain the player's stamina but grant immunity to SCP-049

i like to think this is ordered from least important to most important so that keeping the old .44 is the most important

for people who do not know. 001-j is a big red button that effectively destroys all fo reality. so ending the round with no winners instantly

Scp 999. Is a playable/non-playable character. Has a 15% chance for an average server to be the 999 player for all, while larger servers have a reduced chance of 8.5%. 999 is a non-killable scp that can only be killed by either 1. Suicide and pink candy, or 2. Zombies and micro. 999 is a human-helper with the passive ability to "cure"/heal players in a 1.5 meter radius every 2hp per 10 seconds. Scp-999 has a 5% chance of being able to cure a zombie and make that zombie a serpent hand. 999 will be slightly faster than a person on "a" cola. 999 will have the option to help everyone in a game - be it scp or not - and get a 25% speed and 10% health boost. 999 also has the slight 1% chance of turning "evil" after nuke has gone off, and will be able to consume the bodies of dead player and get a 40% attack boost to the last team body it has eaten.

game would be 5 terabytes and the updates would take months to download, which you wouldn't be able to enjoy, because you would need a nuclear-powered pc to run it at BARELY 20 fps, that is NOT how you make a good game
This is why some modded servers like chaos and brights are currently very popular, they have a lot of new content and some playable scps (even if they do become a sweaty shitshow sometimes)

Finally someone else SAYS IT! You know why I play SCP SL? To shoot the SCP. That's what I came for and what I stay for. Half the time it just seems like KOS: the game, and let me tell you, KOS is so unfun I could write a whole Bible about it. The SCPs are either unfun to play against or unfun to play most of the time because of how absolutely brain dead the roles can be. You can be Peanut and Shy Guy but not Shy Guy and Comp? Well, if that's how it works, why can you be Larry and Comp considering how terrible that can be? There's a million and one issues with the PVP and the SCPs, and I am slowly losing my mind from them like a death by a thousand cuts. Help.

Make it to where the chances of being an SCP goes up after every round, and then it resets once you roll an SCP (getting 049-2 does not count)

Now if you meant there needs to be more than just pc to talk to other players yes I think a lot of us want that. There is also skeleton but that’s a Halloween only scp but some servers still have him active and his way of speaking to other players isn’t completely direct like old dog or 079

You really want to compare roblox with Secret Lab? Hate to break it to you, but the versions on Roblox tend to stray further away from the source material than anything SL has done thus far.

@@InfamousInvictis He is an unconfined speed demon that gets you by the time you hear him. He has plenty of time to check every corner. You clearly don't care about SCPs or how they work so long as they're in the game. 096 should only be able to kill who looked at him and have a marker on the person until they die.

They should make 999.
999 would heal humans and can’t be hurt by humans nor SCPs. It does not hurt any other teams either. Their win condition is any human victory and does not count towards the SCPs that need to be terminated or ‘contained’.
999 would probably heal both scps and humans. Since that’s how it works in lore. He loves everybody. (Except 106. I don’t think they like each other.)

In all seriousness, I do think new SCPs should be experimented with, as having the same SCPs for 5 years, and actually losing a couple, this games gameplay has become quite stale. There needs to be a new SCP to spice it up and add some more flavor into the gameplay.
