GG, Two records in one night is nuts, can't wait to see how far the community can push the BHF route
Considering that this one was first sub 58 despise being below 58 by a whoping 26 seconds means that this run can be much more optimizated, sub 57 and 56 must be posible, maybe sub 55 is also posible, don't think sub 54 is posible unless fromsoftware does some nuts Buff to the weapons used in this run, which, if from does that, they might as well put a easy Mode, because this run already uses perfectly strong weapons that does not need a buff
@@jajasking9652 Well no, the amount of time shaved off doesn't necessarily mean even more can be shaved off. Obviously this run can still be improved by a lot but just because you shave 20 seconds off a run doesn't mean you can shave another 20 off. The only indication of a faster run being possible with a particular route is the amount of mistakes made.

@@HostileHitman still, a good amount of times, a Big chunk of time saved like this is due to the run still not being optimizated, 3 exceptions, one of them being really considerable are as follows: 1: the run is really cycle based, and miss some cycle can cost you 15-20 seconds ( for example, uumuu's fight in hollow Knight, and even for this, a lot of rng manipulation is made ) 2: the rng that the run had was absolutly incredible( for example, most old Pokemon games, although there is also a good amount of rng manipulation ) and the most important one, 3: because the category of the run or the Game is really long, examples: Mario Odyssey all mons or any categorie of persona 5 royale ( i think the world record of the any % of this Game is in like 12 hours lmao )

Ill never understand how someone can speedrun mutilple games throughout several genres and be dominant in pretty much all of them. I could spend a lifetime trying to speedrun one game and get nowhere near this guy. Truly incredible.

Tbf it does help that he makes a living streaming, most people just don't have the time to grind speedruns because of their job. Still insanely impressive though, mans a beast.

It's important to keep in mind he's able to make a living from speedrunning BECAUSE he's a talented speedrunner. Taking that basketball analogy one step further - if you started paying a random person a basketballer's salary it doesn't mean they're going to perform at a professional level. A lot of risk and investment goes in to becoming a content creator person!
