The season is actually 13 episodes so still got 5 episodes to go :) And from what I saw on Twitter, a reputable leaker said this would be a split cour with the second cour announced later so hopefully they will announce a date when this season ends. Since you asked - as a manga reader I have been BEYOND happy with this adaptation. Last episode I already thought they knocked it out of the park but they took it to a whole other level with this one too. The animation, choreography, soundtrack choices, voice acting are all top notch. Everything is just firing on all cylinders and I am so incredibly happy at how much effort has been put in this adaptation and little anime original scenes/additions they've put in. To me this anime is really an example of an adaptation that elevates the manga and it's been consistent throughout the whole season.
Now this makes want to read the manga after the season ends. I mean I already bought Vol.1 so I should keep going right? And also with the leaker, even though I personally don't put too much faith in them, I'll have a little bit if the information if the 2nd cour happening later this year as being true.
The manga has a lot of amazing characters and the plot just keeps on progressing, I also cried a lot like haikyuu level of emotional+ hxh chimera ant arc. The latest arc right now is crazy.
Sakura vs Togame was awesome. With the way Togame was acting, it really shows that Choji is an ineffective leader for his gang. He's not good at motivating his men.
Not only motivating, he's become solely selfish in his own quest for strength and is forgetting hiw he managed to reach there which is his team and especially Togame. I just hope Umemiya can knock some much needed sense into in the fight
I think that would make the best conclusion for the Shinshitoren arc. He's more levelheaded and grounded. He also hates bullying the weak, if any kind. So, I think Shishitoren would do good under Togame's leadership

Umemiya is ridiculously strong. With one powerful punch, Choji had a nosebleed. I'm looking forward to their fight 🔥
