My S&S MK45's were the same with the sound. Quiet with no load on the engine then opened up and got loud with a load. I might put these on my 23.5 CVO.
@@PutMilesOnIt oh wow that’s neat! Two different locations all in one. Im a short guy and i have the kraus wolf one kit, and i thought it was great. Then i decided to add a pullback plate and i ditched the kraus adjustable cluster and got the moonshine horsepower bar clamp cluster and what a world of difference. I couldn’t believe the improvement in comfort that pull back plate added.

Very happy with mine, the decel sound seemed wrong, but glad to hear its just normal for this exhaust, did you notice extra vibration around 3k rpm?

Actually, you lose hp with full length, you do gain torque though. Shorter is better for hp
