I'm thinking about buying one of these to play thrash metal with, will it do the job?
no the g3 is inactive for all these videos. the pedals are very quite. they sound good as well i use the vintage overdrive and the ultimate drive a lot. but i switch out pedals all the time depending on what sound i need. i dont play metal so much any more so this pedal isnt on my board right now. but a good pedal non the less.
could you do a demo of these pedals into a power amp? Preferably into the power amp on a tube combo or tube head, and compare it to the native preamp of whatever amplifier you use. I would be curious to hear it and also to see what type of volume you get, does it alter greatly?
Would you recommend this for playing Metallica? Bought myself the Crunch Distortion, also from Joyo. But I think that the Crunch Distortion doesn't have enough gain. Nice review btw!
when using this live, are you going into the front of an amp, or into a power amp, or Direct?

at this point i cant. i have a different amp that doesnt have a fx loop or pre out power in. if i get a amp that will ill do it.
are these pedals for bass guitars as well ??

yes i think it is. a LOT of gain! more then any one would ever need. ok tone if you like boss metalzone pedals like that. then you will like this one a lot and its half the price or better.
Do you get much noise off your extreme metal? When mine's active it throws out a pretty loud white-noise-like hum [guitar -> pedal -> amp]. Cables aren't top notch; power supply neither but even so, it's a noisy one compared to my two other overdrive/dist pedals (Behringer). Wondering if it's just the one I have or if it's a common issue.

mine isnt noisy at all less its hooked up to a my tele(single coils) and its very minimal. but i have skb power and good cables. in this video i didnt its was all cheap power and cables. and i here camera noise but no hum or hiss. al of humm and hiss comes from cables or power. try just a battery first. a pedal will be it quietest with a battery.
when using the California and the British as my main pedals i can do all. front power or direct. but when i use direct i also use a palmer PDI-9 di box. the metal pedal u can use in front or power but isnt real good direct. to fuzzy direct.
Can please someone tell me which pedal is better, the joyo pocket metal or the joyo extreme metal?

Mate, Quick question. Do you use the noise gate of the zoom to eliminaste the feedback nois eof the pedal.
Just did a battery test; did seem quieter. Going to at least get some better patch cables though. Cheers.

Can you use this pedal plus vintage overdrive or ultimatte drive to ganerate more sustaine? because i use always a fury overdrive pedal to the clean chanell and i need a distortion pedal to plus in some songs heavys (with my overdrive turn on)
