It works best with seed beads because of their round shape and wider stringing holes. Beads with irregular shapes and smaller stringing holes might not string onto the needle as quickly as seed beads.

Hi Dorien. You might be able to use Stretch Magic if the cord is able to pass through the beads, even when on the needle. You wouldn't be able to make the loops in the necklace like we did here.

Yes, 6/0 seed beads would work, but you'll have better success the smaller the beads are.
