In this video, I thought it would be fun and nice to take you along for a very realistic week (sort of) as a foreigner working here in Japan. At first, I was a bit sceptical whether or not to post this video, as it might be too boring or not as interesting as my other videos but at the same time, I wanted to show you a different side of my life as a teacher here in Japan.
Also, I'm not sure if you guys will notice, but in this video, the editing is a bit different. I don't know how you will feel about it, but I sure hope you will enjoy! It was really nice & calming seeing the various aspects of your life in Japan! Especially your realistic work life - it's amazing that you are so productive even after the school day is over!💓 Would you be able to do a video explaining how you manage your time and your perspectives of burnout and loneliness (to complement the living along in Japan diaries!)? Loneliness is such a universal and common issue in society. Thank you - I'm so glad I recently found you & subbed!🥰
I agree! ❤️ It took me a very long time to get to this point where I’m able to manage when homesickness and loneliness creep in (although I still feel this way from time to time) but finding ways to distract yourself really works a lot. Actually, I was in those dark phases in my life when I created my channel and it really helped me. I remember when I first came to Japan, I didn’t know anybody, I didn’t know any Japanese so I couldn’t do anything, and on top of that, I had to work and live here alone without anyone. I wanted to just give up and go back home, where my family and friends are, where my comfort zone is, but then I knew that if I did that, I’ll probably regret it at some point in time because I gave up so easily. So please hang in there friend! We got this! ❤️On your videos, I saw that you moved to Boston recently? It looks amazing and looks like a good chance for you so learn so many things not only at school, but about yourself! So grab that opportunity friend! 💕

@@BeaAbella Yeah it’s a great thing that you stayed in Japan. It’s very plausible that you would have eventually regretted it if you didn’t stay. It’s a sad truth but we more often than not regret the things we didn’t do than the things we did.
I respect teachers who still make the class fun for the kids to learn even though they are very tired. I respect you for that.
As a fellow Office worker (and RUclipsr) in Japan it’s so nice to see how others spend their day working and manage their time ☺️💗

Been working from home since covid happened, I just miss working at the office. I miss the morning rush, commute and interacting with others. I'm introverted and a homebody but months just at home make me crave the outside world so much. Watching your work vlog make me reminisce my life pre-covid, it's very relaxing to watch ❤️
I am also introverted and miss those things, too! It was a perfect balance for me.

It's so great to see that you put such effort in your student's work. I'm currently in my graduation year(India),if our teachers put half as effort as you do then we would have been able to finish our syllabus for our midterms. Our teachers just wing it and expect everything to eventually work out.

It was wonderful seeing your day. I have so many questions! What time does your workday start? Here in the USA most people are already at work and working by 8am. I saw different times that you start? What age children do you teach? Is Japanese school out for the summer months like US schools? Also, you can pay your bills at the convenience store?!? What kind of bills? Our convenience stores here are to get gas, drinks and overpriced snacks. Japanese convenience stores are way better than ours! Sorry for all the questions. It's so interesting to see how different like is in Japan compared to US. I like seeing what it like. 😊 Oh, and your bacon, very different from our bacon. Lol!
