- dear god i did not enjoy this citadel all lol. floors 6-8 were the most painful by far, due to them having annoying and inconsistent gameplay that gets insanely frustrating to play over and over. on top of that, there are a ton of painful sections and pacing issues within the citadel, like on floors 17, 19, 20, and ESPECIALLY 23 with the purist section, failing that section and having to wait for healing is not fun at all.
btw i think this is like low-mid insane (this is not extreme at all LOL)

floor 2 bullets are now teleporters
floor 3 last jump into extension section is buffed by a stud
floor 3 first extension section is now a gbj
floor 4 section to last section is no longer a teleporter
floor 4 new section at the end
floor 6 has a ladder at the end
floor 7 x pusher now has a pole in the middle
floor 8 has new killbrick wraparounds
floor 8 has a new spinner section
floor 8 x pusher has no respawner
floor 10 teleporter now teleports to floor 6 rather than the start of 10
floor 11 has a new section at the outside
floor 13 has a new colour picker challenge, similarly to the one on floor 9
floor 14 ladder at the start is buffed

floor 15 is no longer a net
floor 15 has new gameplay on the outside with rising blocks
floor 16 has rising blocks rather than normal ones
dropper has bouncing spheres which tank your hp
floor 17 has a new outside

floor 18 has rising blocks in the middle of the floor
floor 19 outside has new challenges
floor 20 has an extended section that branches outside the citadel
floor 21 is now a full fledged floor
floor 22 x pushers are no longer slow
floor 23 has a new purist section
floor 23 has buffed wraps on the outside
floor 24 blue button recovery is harder and requires a wallhop
floor 24 spinning killbrick is thicker
floor 24 falling platforms are harder
floor 24 outside requires jumping onto tightropes without aligning
floor 24 after the outside has bullets that shoot up
