He is is an American record producer, singer, and songwriter credited with the creation of the R&B and hip hop fusion genre, new jack swing. He is the founder and lead vocalist of the musical group Blackstreet, as well as its predecessor, Guy. The genre also gained popularity from artists who utilized Riley's production and songwriting, namely Michael Jackson, Bobby Brown, Heavy D & the Boyz, Keith Sweat, Hi-Five, and the Jackson 5, among others.
Girls' Generation's dancing is based on the song and does not interfere with the singing, but creates a synergistic effect !!!!!!!!! It's amazing that they dance in ridiculously high heels !!!!!!!!!
I was such a SONE back when these first two songs came out!!! I remember watching these performances when they actually aired because I literally watched every performance of theirs as soon as they came out. Jessica leaving left too much blood in the water for me to continue but these old songs are so nostalgic for me.
OT9 was unparalleled magic. OT8 was close, but missing a critical bit of sparkle. Oh!GG was a pale shadow of past glory, trying to squeeze a last bit of money for the label; if they can't put together an OT8 comeback (or better yet, reconcile with Jessica for an OT9 reunion) the members are better off soloing. Apologies from both sides will be needed for that to happen. A TTS (cross-management) power trio comeback might be more achievable, and likewise worthwhile.

I continued to watch them after Jessica was gone, and I didn't notice a huge fall off in quality. I do miss her, but not that much.
