Mate been watching your videos for years and always wanted to go into the industry and about 6 months ago got my class 1 and do tramping now mon-fri and Love my job. A part of that is due to your videos so keep doing what you do mate
Got your class 1 6 months ago and you found a class 1 job damm well done ive had mine over a year and cant get nothing wont look at me and thats with a year on class 2 and a year on coaches....
How did you manage to get in a class 1 so fast after passing
Got agency work after like 3 months and over 100 applications to different companys and agencies then one took me on and the company must have been happy with me and took me on full time
Damm ive done over 1400 aplications think ill quit tomorrow and go on agency p.s not joking.

Hi Luke. Just started watching. Always look forward to your vids. Anyway, the reason why your lorry gets dirty so quick is because its white, obviously🤣. Also, TicToc sounds like its full of negative people, whilst RUclips is full of positive people. Negative doesn't do me at all. I find that negative people are the grumpy types and positive are the smiley people😂. Those that say you put RUclips first is irrelevant. Your job does come first as it pays your wages. You're doing it to help people to further their career, or help those decide whether HGV driving is a good career path. I lost my lovely husband four years ago, so now on my own. If I need to fix something that's broken, and I've never done it or seen it fixed before, then I go to RUclips. Its been a really big help to me. Its really a handybook on tv instead of pictures in a book. RUclips for me is a life saver. So Luke, you carry on with what you do. I follow about half a dozen drivers, and you are all different in your own ways, and one is even a lady, who in my honest opinion is the best of everyone🤣🤣. What people need to realise about you lorry drivers is that you're on your own for the majority of the week you may be out. Using a camera is one way of chatting, albeit its a one-sided conversation, but I couldn't do it, as there'd be too much swearing as I shout at other drivers🤣🤣. Kiosk is pronounced kee-osk😉

(PG9 i Guarantee, ) If the sun visor is down they Will Allway retract it at any MOT, If you are a betting man ? please let me know lol I have taken many hundreds for MOT and still do to this day, So i do know the Strokes you can Pull to hoodwink the Testers , But That is Not One Of Them Fact,
I’m not saying it was pass or fail. Truth be told I do not know 🤷 sounds like you have alot of experience in that area and you’ll know more than me. All I’m saying is, it come no lower than the sun visor. Removing the pelmet wouldn’t make me see more.
@@lukecinahgv I quite agree with you, the fact that you can drive with the sunvisor down is ok. But VOSA don`t see it like that for some reason lol. We have in the past had see throuh sun strips at the top of the screen, but because they are in the wiper sweep they want them removed, ( Sun Visors go in the Sweep lol ) By the way i trying to be Helpfull and Not Nit Picking, as We still have plenty of bollox on our vehicles ie Bull Bars /Lights / Alloys /and All the Shiny Bits you can think of lol (fitted by ourself) With pelmets / tables ( Most ) will ask you to remove them Before they PG9 it, But remember there is allways ONE and he could be sitting in That Car lol
With them shutting the Test Stations you cannot speek to the Management to sort out something you do not agree with, Not All the testers Know what they are doing i can asure you, But nowadays they can get away with it,
With the Ray bans recording 60 second clips in portrait, they are ideal for youtube shorts, too
Tried other drivers vlogs and they are good but their c + w music drives me mad and makes me fast forward which I'm fed up of doing so I'm sticking with the best, LukeC and the other LukeC.

Hey Luke, awesome as always. There are only three people with any legitimate rights to criticise how much time you do/don't spend filming- your boss, your family and you.
While things have sort of returned to normal post covid there seems to be far more self important dickheads wanting to stir things up.
Nowadays I am on the passenger side of transport and post covid cop far more direct abuse than previous, plus complaints to the company and social media. For those each and every one 100% completely diproved, usually through error and ignorance but so often deliberate lies.
Seems lockdowns incubated some nasty personalities

This is a completely random comparison. I'm a Chelsea FC fan. Their social media is currently getting absolutely slammed by people flaming due to how bad the club is currently. As a content creator you will always get trolls and bad comments no matter how big/small you are. Gotta ignore them and keep going!

For the straps use a cordless drill. I used a bit of 10mm rod long peace and two short welded them together

No one will /can Nick that work ffs , Gregorys have that job Cheap as Chips, There colour matches the company to a T, A Bigger Rate Cutter than Stobarts ever was. They Won a million pound ??? out of Wycombe some years ago lol Four companys went bust trying to do it beforehand , That was after we told them to stick it up there arse ? then we read Gregorys had Won The Contract lol Because know other C--T wanted it , Plastic is light the Rate was much lighter though.

For a HGV driver,you’re not very practical.But you drive well
TikTok is horrendous for that, it's helped many - small businesses can sell on there. One good night and bang, your orders go through the roof. But if you're just promoting yourself or your channel, you'll take hate no matter what. If you're not getting any hate all, you probably aren't getting views.
