Watching these over a couple years later and seeing how my opinion on these topics change is so interesting. It’s also interesting because with my best friends and I in terms of affection we went the opposite way from JK. At first we’d all keep our distance from each other and just keep boundaries. Now whenever we see each other we display some sort of affection. A hug, a slap on the butt, grabbing each other’s hands, something to say like “oh you’re back welcome!” We’re like members of each other’s families so we’ve all just become completely comfortable and whatever we feel like doing, we do. Is it bad that I show more affection toward my friends than my own family members? I can't even say "I love you" or hug my family members without feeling awkward, whereas it's the total opposite with my friends
I personally really like hanging with jkcrew videos. They make me feel like I'm part of their family and helps me understand or get a glimpse of who they are. You guys are the best!

Honestly, me and the people I know, I see my friends when I go to school every weekday or whenever I go out with them, my coworkers at my job, my family at parties or meeting with them and even people I meet for the first time, I always show them affection in any type of way like friend handshakes, high fives for the young kids or babies, one arm in and pat on the back wit my boiz, hug girls and my family, or even yelling someone's name to get there attention and either wave to them or walk to them to give physical affection. I always show affection even though I could see them every single day because I always think "This could be the last time I could see them" because anything can happen in life and I see it as a final hello and goodbye if we don't see each other again.

Mere contact isn't the same as affection. In Joe's early vlogs he (and Bart) used to speak a lot more in the sort of set phrases and expressions that sounded 'street' rather than just speaking freely and articulately like they do today. Joe's way more soft and affectionate now in his outward manner on camera but as he says, he doesn't need to constantly affirm his affiliation to JK for them to know they're all tight.
