MAS is a canadian airsoft company, for the price you absolutely cannot get better internals (at least in Canada) and the owner is awesome, for me they would be between A and S-tier if they made more stuff than just m4 and one ak they would be S-tier.

If I have to choose between BOLT and Ares Scar SC, which one is the best? Is ARES Scar SC so bad? As in your video, for ARES, it is best to ask about specific model. Thank you very much
I don't have much experience with Ares, Scott has more knowledge than me. I have a bolt mp5 and it's great. I love the recoil, especially with an 11.1 battery.
E&L (Essential) has the best AK platform if you are searching for the perfect AK AEG. I have E&L Essential AK-74N with Vector Optics Red Dot (SVD PSO-1 style red dot). It's fucking work horse. Exterior is made from steel and wood and hop-up is metal. There is no plastic anywhere. I have been in military and when I say you can use it as shovel... I mean it. Way better than CYMA. Retailer was him self surprised about the specs of E&L, and every one else in field have asked me to test my gun and they have been surprised that it was not CYMA.

We don't have them in japan so I can't really comment my opinion. But I've talked to lots of people about specna arms and they seem to be great value for money. The novritsch stuff seems controversial. Some people love it while others say they are unreliable and are overpriced for what your getting.

Ive watched three tier lists so far and no one mentioned Novritsh. i am getting ready to buy 2 or 3 Novritsh guns but I am still not sure of their reliability and would like to see where they fall on the list before I commit.
I've heard good and bad things about them. I haven't used them though because they aren't really available in Japan. Basically they come pre upgraded which means you can use them in games straight out of the box. But I've heard they have some quality control issues. Maybe start with one gun and take it from there.

Lct saying their aegs are just shells to upgrade is wild. Idc how well its made. I bought a 7.62 wasr 10 for 400 dollars 10 years ago. That includes dumb 2a taxes etc. Theres no reason why the a quality shell should cost more than 250.

Also, about price i know it sounds strange but some airsoft guns are more complicated that real guns since they have hpa engines, electric triggers, mosfets, optical sensors, electric blowback, the new guns are basically computers. Taking apart an ngrs m4 vs a real m4 is considerably harder lol.
@@defroweairsoft They make the UTR45 and quite a few M4s along with the new Finnish Sako sniper. For what the guns offer at the price point, they're the best bang for buck currently on offer. They're based out of Xiamen in China.

VFC in the UK and majority of EU are genuinely crap, I've seen so many of their gearbox shells warped, pistols shredding so fast that they might only last a month to they ambi fire selectors being so loose that you think it might fall off and on top of that their receivers cracking.
@@defroweairsoft stock, for example had friends vfc 417 and that thing was so bad inside. Gearbox was not even flat and little bit warped in a middle so shimming it was a nightmare
APS is just a brand that I can't see anywhere besides dumpster fire. Their older AEGs were bad, the newer ones (the silver edge series) are so bad that you literally can't fix them without milling the gearbox for an hour. Sure, the cam870 was well received but it's just about the only popular APS that people liked and even that thing didn't consistently work out of the box. I've owned four aps, two gbb pistols and two aegs, and not one was in working order out of the box. Proprietary parts, poor quality materials, and between myself and most people I know who own one, consistently non-functional replicas in the box (non-functional is an exaggeration, more like not fieldable). Valken on the other hand I don't think deserved the dumpster fire. I fondly remember their alloy series that more or less premiered the microswitch mosfet, although I have to admit the newer ASLs are barely viable. I did enjoy the video a lot, but I feel like a lot of it was based a lot on collector views and how much you liked certain specific replicas. Which makes a lot of sense, but it was a little hard for me to really understand how you got to certain points of view, since some picks (like Krytac) were based more on the value proposition of replicas, while others (Systema, Real Sword, etc.) were based more around the "clout" of the brand. Still, I enjoyed the video. It was fun and relaxing to kind of just listen to. But also, what about all the up and comer brands that are reshaping the landscape of airsoft at the moment? Where were brands like Double Eagle, Army Armament, KJW, and no mention of Cyma plats? Honestly, I'd want to see two separate tier lists, one for the brand clout and one for the value proposition and quality of their products and this definitely isn't just a thinly veiled attempt to get Defrowe and USAirsoft to make more content together.

In Japan we don't have a lot of airsoft brands to be honest, just a lot of Marui. There are others but they can be expensive and hard to find. You seem very knowledgeable about this. @@defroweairsoft there isn't anything hugely wrong with krytac guns (some would say that certain proprietary bits are an issue but I don't really care), the issue is with their price. They are far too expensive for what they are and the amount of good things you here are probably because people won't shut up about them to try and justify the amount of money they dropped on it. Very nice quality externals but put next to a cyma blue edition for example they are equal, internally they are very basic (they do have a mosfet but it's the most basic £2 mosfet you can get, it's more to prolong the life of your contacts than for any performance). I fact they feel and perform about as good as cyma blue edition stuff, yet they cost double. I have and use a krytac myself but only because I got a crazy deal on it, definitely not worth the asking price in this current market. As for vfc (more so their aeg's), cost a lot, nice externals, gears are made of cheese, not worth asking price in current market.

Great feedback man. VFC have some great gas blowbacks. I think VFC didn't get a great score because of how they approach their production iteration and compatibility. Yeah, TM should be S tier. I don't have any information about KWA because we don't use them in Japan.
The cyma platinums are sraight garbage. Mosfets will melt overtime, especially with 11.1vs, trigger safety broke very easily, and just a horribly done series overall. Also the ETU is well known for failing along the mosfet. The whole gun will melt.
Loved that you ranked CYMA S-tier! They used to just make Tokyo Marui clones but now their latest Platinum models are really exciting.

It's not a thing in Japan. I've seen them increase in popularity recently. This was a pre-made list. It seems specna wasn't around when it was made.

for instance, vfc you NEED to remove all the internals to have something that is good but they have very good externals so idk
