Great video as always, never knew the 700 had a depot whistle! It sounds so different to the Electrostar ones!the wave from the conductor was nice too… and later on the driver…Southeastern seem to have some very friendly staff! Great to see the Javelins in the mix - love them trains!
@@thekentishtrainspotter3052 what routes are they operating on? Thankfully they only have either 8 or 10 so far and with SWRs 701s seemingly taking an age to enter service - you might have quite a while before the full fleet transfers.
@@AnthonyFurnival they are mainly doing Cannon Street to hayes and Cannon Street to Orpington at the moment but that’s mainly it. I’ve heard that most of the 465s are retiring aswell ☹️
@@thekentishtrainspotter3052 I think the 465 fleet should be relatively safe for now - as there are only 30 707s yet there are 147 465s so there should still be 100+ in service even after the 707s are fully in service. So fingers crossed we’ll see 465s for many years to come. I hope so as they are lovely trains.
@@thekentishtrainspotter3052 also just seen footage that would break your heart - two 465/2s being towed away by a ROG 37, apparently being towed to Worksop first then Newport for scrap 🙁
Good video dude very enjoyable

Thanks. It is cool to have a 700 whistle. But speaking of 700s southeastern are starting with their 707s today. I’m not a very happy man right now
