I recently watched project a ko and the all episodes were really good one of my favorite anime so far my favorite characters are a ko, ,b ko , c ko, the captain , as well rest of the characters their so interesting as well so much that I’m taking inspiration for my science fantasy anime series with the art style being a love to 80s and 90s anime
As flawed as this movie was, I liked it more than the sequels. And as flawed as this movie was, I rewatched it recently, fearful that the naivete of my youth clouded my better judgement, but I still LOVED it! I was still laughing out loud at some of the jokes and bobbing my head along to the soundtrack. This is one of my all-time favorite soundtracks of any movie to this day.
I recently watched all movies and they were really amazing I’m glad I discovered this franchise It’s just so amazing My favorite characters are a ko, b ko, c ko, the captain as well the rest of the characters and the soundtrack is just awesome and unforgettable. I’m actually taking inspiration For my science fantasy anime series and the art is going a love letter to 80s and 90s including project a ko
flawed was the fun part of project ako though. part of an era of anime where they just went with it :P i find anime these days trying to be too precise.
when this song plays and enemy mothership show itself, such a sight to behold, such impact music that show the awe and overwhelming of the ship. it just perfect
Yeah, I gotta agree with you Butte, Project A-ko is probably my favorite old school anime movie, too. Only the Castle of Cagliostro and the first Galaxy Express 999 movie are in the same league as it.
i always find just these 11 songs ONLY. The movie had more by a third composer. Toru Akasaka. Anyhow great addition to my collection. Hail scifi channel.
In 1997, this theme gained lyrics in Portuguese in Brasil, serving as the opening of the session "U.S. Manga do Brasil", recorded by Sarah Regina.
One of my favorite anime’s of all time.

@@ultimo36 the energy man. It was intense in the 80's/90's. We need to to tap back into that
I never felt it was flawed. The sequels definitely, but the original is wonderfully whacky and silly.
fantastic theme song!!!!!
This, Anvil of Crom and music from Rocky are the mainstays of my gym soundtrack.

Best track on the whole album!
This movie is one of the most gloriously silly things ever created and I absolutely love it. The ABSURDLY good soundtrack definitely helps.

Hail scifi channel.
This, and Nausicaa, and Gunbuster, hold really especially nostalgic places in my heart!
so good that it feels just at home in 1987 as it does in 2087!
U.S. Manga Corps do Brasil
Fucking love this movie and its soundtrack!
