One of the things that I find most interesting, is that throughout the majority of ships that I've seen, this one actually is extremely genuine when it comes to attraction. I'm a psych major and one thing that I study a lot in different cases is body language. You can tell so much more than what others seem to see. Body language encompasses so much more than physical movement though. Being hypervigilant myself, I noticed the body language between Jimin and JHope is so much more than friends. I'm not going to speculate on their relationship, but I do know that there is a genuine love and affection that surpasses a normal friendship with these two. I think that everyone has the right to ship who they want, but if you look closely at these two as opposed to Jimin and JK, or Suga and JHope, you can see the difference.
They make me smile whenever they're together ..these two sunshines 😄 ..hobi did say that he was comfortable with jimin and he liked him from the moment they met ..and jimin is the clingy type, hobi is just the person to accommodate him ..also people seem to forget that they're roomates ..of course they are super close ..

Every relationships look different, some people are comfortable with touches, other less, some people say "i love you" every day because it always feels like a truth, other say it occasionally because they think these words are too powerful, it's difficult to measure the love or the nature of the relationship, actually we don't have any right to. Nonetheless I like shipping in general because it's like trying to guess on what bases two people could fall in love according to their personalities, the context, their interactions. It often just means observing the existing relationship between two people and extrapolating what it could become *if* [include a condition] happens. Of course these bases and conditions are different for every ship, that's why it's difficult to compare them (and pointless as it's mostly fiction). Even though I admit that Jihope have a lot of material going on for them, I probably low-key ship it now.
Hobi 1 Kenobi I agree that no one can speculate on the level of love and affection one has with a single person as opposed to another. I would also agree that shipping is fairly imaginative. However, the difference in love and affection can be more noticeable. They both obviously love every member and that is shown and portrayed constantly. There is just a difference in how it is shown and portrayed...not all love looks the same and can infer different meanings. While I do not know what goes on behind closed doors, and like I said, I'm not going to speculate, I still believe that their affection is DIFFERENT than the affection shown to others. What that difference is, I can't honestly say...but it is there.
Hobi 1 Kenobi I also think shipping everyone is the way to go. I low key ship multiple different pairings in BTS (Taekook, Vmon and Yoonseok being some of my favorites).
Yeah I totally agree with you. I must say it's quite obvious, different people have different relationships and showcase their feelings differently but sometimes in fandom people want their ship to behave according to what they think love looks like even though it doesn't make sense when looking at the idol's personality and such. In that sense we can not expect Yoonseok (for example) to look like Jihope, like how weird that would be! (I'm getting shivers imagining Suga behaving like Jimin). And where's the fun in having similar chemistry with anyone? Also i believe that the best way to understand your bias (or anyone in a band) is to look at all the ships in which they are included because you can really know more about their personality and their story when you ask these questions : how is he with a younger or older member? Why does he only initiate skinship with X? Who is revealing what aspect of him and in which situations? It's so entertaining and at the end you kinda like all the ships because you understood that all these different relationships built the person you stan.

He still was touchy-feely, but the smile's and different little mannerisms became incredibly obvious to somebody who's really paying attention that shows that change in affection.
