My birthday is in April.and I too have had a first friend that saved me from loneliness.we used time talking and doing stupid things.but after the primary school,we split up.And days become nights ,nights become days.and years flew by.and I became a teenager.At 2020april6 one day before my birthday
My father who is a doctor told me that he was gone by a kidney disease.a few months later,I watched this anime.
And whenever I heard this piano I miss him

after watching this show I cried not because it was sad it was because of her braveness that made me cry and when I listen to this song I think about the end and how kosie and her family visited her grave .I was mostly sad of how the ending was .She died and then they tell us she did all the things in her life just to meet kosie .I happy because not only did she be friends with kosie but she got to play with kosie .I think this is a good anime for beginners that just started to watch anime

I couldn't watch this anime cause of fanservice and childish style, but i trully believe, that this is the best anime soundtarck overall and i try to learn to play it. Thx for this video, i'm already got to 0:40
upd. Ok, i watch this anime, and i get why they make those childstyle scenes. It just would be too serious for anime to watch all of this without this emotinal detente. Was a bit surprised, that there were not played this theme on piano. Piano cover sounds way better than the original "again" in 4th series.
P.S. And i'm already coming to hardest 1:58 part, it looks unreal now, but all you need to learn this is just to say yourself "Again!" after every mistake)
I have been playing the violin since more than 14 years . But I actually never really liked it, I never felt it in my heart. Although I started because I wanted to, not because of a decision based on parental influence, I never really felt the instrument. I was sad and angry every time I played it and was frustrated when I couldn't become better. Music meant so much to me, so why wasn't I able to play? So a few years ago I additionally started playing the piano because I did not want to give up. But you know, nothing really changed and after some time at some point I just felt like Arima Kousei, not being able to hear the violin or the piano. I wrote my own songs for the piano but after a while actually felt lost again, so I kind of stopped playing both. I completely stopped playing the violin a few years ago and the piano about a year ago, leaving both back in a dusty way.
Two weeks ago I started watching Your Lie in April and I haven't finished yet which is really awkward for me since I normally binge watch great anime in one night (you probably know what I am talking about). But you know, this anime is that kind of anime you do not want to end you just want to feel what they are feeling over and over again. It gets me on so many emotional levels. Their passion, their love, not only for each other but I rather mean the feelings towards their instruments. It almost sounds abnormally ridiculous how one can be so obsessed over music and through the anime I asked myself whether there are people, asking themselves how one could take this so seriously. But at that point I realised that I took it so seriously too. Everytime he was playing the piano and she was playing the violin, my palms were sweating out of nervousness. Just like him, I focused on being perfect not on playing in a meaningful way for others or even for myself. Arima and Kaori didn't really need much more than the music and in the end they would always find back to it because it was always there.
After watching this anime I started to play the violin again, which I thought I would never do. As I started it sounded so differently, I finally heard what I was playing. And there I understood what Arima was going through all this time, because I have been experiencing the same thing, this drowning and deafness since I started playing the instrument and it is worse than one could imagine. The thing you loved the most, was the thing you could not reach no matter how often you tried. The pressure, the thoughts, the perfectionism I was dealing with - he was dealing with - were louder than the sound of the instrument. I am finally able to play in a way I always wanted to play and now understand that there was a purpose almost 15 years ago when I decided to take that beautiful little wooden thing with me. It still sounds ridiculous, but I am finally in love. With music again, with my instruments and with my life. The pressure I have been feeling is reduced and I can feel the music in my heart.
Thank you Kaori for sharing every feeling you could share and changing Arimas life, and my life, in such a positive way. I will never forget Your Lie in April. It reached me

+Pepillo Mathieu Yes I know that but I mean like arpeggios (for example in C-Major you start with your thumb (finger 1) and do 1-2-3-1-2-3-4-1-2-3-1-2-3-4-5 to climb the arpeggio) I thought there'd be a way to make the pattern as comfortable and right as possible ^^
