Love these cards! I’ve had that DSP a long time, and have yet to use it. It’s just so gorgeous! TFS the various ways to make shutter cards. I’ve been making other versions like crazy, and now I will be giving this version a try!
Love the papers, colours & design. Wonder what it would look like if the base card was the curry colour & the matt was peacock the same as the strips if that makes sense? So that that linked up?
All so lovely!
Thanks very much!
This has become one of my new favorite techniques. Thanks for sharing how to use dsp on front of card, also.
Such a fun (and not too complicated) layout! Glad you're enjoying it.
Beautiful card . Cool and rainy in northern Indiana also
Always wondered how those angled shapes were measured! So much easier than I thought, thank you!
Happy to help! Yes - definitely simpler than it first appears...just need the tricks ;)
Great tutorial
This is a fun technique…great card 🙂🙃😎😄😁❤️
Glad you like it! Thanks Diana!
Very cool card! Love this technique
Excited to see the makeover!
Always room for a makeover, right?? I love using ideas over again!

Hi Meg 😄😁😃😀
Always fun to say hello!!
Love the papers, colours & design. Wonder what it would look like if the base card was the curry colour & the matt was peacock the same as the strips if that makes sense? So that that linked up?
Oooh - I love all those colors, so mixing them up would be a big hit with me, too. I love the idea of having the colors connect to the layers!
Forgot to say..what size is the base card please?
Half of an 8.5 x 11” - the usual half sheet size 😊 Folded card front is 4 1/4” across and 5 1/2” tall. Cut the card base to 5.5 x 8.5”
@@MegLoven thank you. I'm not familiar with these sheets so I wouldn't have known that 😊
@@7tracey7 sure, happy to help - I clarified my first response, too 😊
