- This is my fairly cheap PA set at around 80% volume. At 10 - 20 meters you can still feel the sound pressure on your chest. Clean sound and a HUGE bass with the correct EQ settings, and goes super loud without distortion.

Dit is mijn (redelijk) goedkope PA set op ongeveer 80% volume. Op 10 - 20 meter afstand voel je de druk nog steeds op je borstkas. Kraakhelder geluid en een hele dikke bass met de juiste EQ instellingen en kan mega hard zonder vervorming.

Any idea how much power those 2 subs/ subs + tops pull on average? Awsome setup btw
Hi, thanks! The amplifier (Proline 3000) alone can peak at around 4000 watts (on a 240v 16A circuit), so the whole setup can peak around 4500 watts i think. The average power usage is something between 2500 and 3500 watts, only if you push the setup really hard you can easily reach 3600 - 4000 watts. I hope this helps!
@@christianvdw579 helps alot thanks! Any reason you got the TP218/1600 mkIII over the TP218/1600A? Because at the moment its cheaper to get 2 of them over the passive ones with the proline 3000 amp
@@heeyz44 Yes, the reason i didn't go for the active version of these subs is because they have a problem when clipping. When the build-in amplifier clips, the whole subwoofer mutes for a couple seconds, this is a big dealbreaker for me, so i opted for the passive version.

I plan on in the future getting 4 of these subwoofers and 6 of the 8la line array to use as a festival rental set do you think they would do the trick

Hi, thanks! The DSP 115 speakers are really powerfull, and play niceley along the TP218's, i think they can handle four TP218's. The subwoofers where cut off at 125Hz

What are your DSP / Crossover Settings for these Subwoofers?
Hi what would you say is better 4x the box pyrit 212 sub A or 2x the box pro tp 218?
Im ether going to by the ones you have or 4 of the 212’s
Hi! 4x the box Pyrit 212 subs would do around 138DB at 1 meter (theoretical), 2x the box pro TP218 would do around 139DB at 1 meter (theoretical). So the TP218's would go a little bit louder and maybe a bit lower. I hope this helps!
Does this have 136 peak with proline 3000 at maximum almost clipping?I want to buy 4 in 2024!

Hi, i don't have the DSP settings right now, but i can tell you what i have done to make them sound really deep and full. I firstly boosted the 35 to 40Hz range to add that low thump, then i lowered the 80 to 110Hz a little bit to remove some of that high kickbass. I have the subs play from ~35 to 125Hz. Without a DSP they don't sound that nice, but with a bit of DSP or EQ correction, the subs will come to life! I drive the subs with 1 Proline 3000 amplifier, this amp provides 1500 to 1800 watts for each sub. The subs take that power like a champ. I hope this helps!

Hi, the top speakers are active, the subs are passive.
was the full power of the tp218?
Hi! Yes, this was close to full power. The TP218 subs handled the 1500 - 1800 watts the Proline 3000 can provide per sub like it was nothing. The video doesn't really convey how loud the speakers / subs really where, but it was pretty loud :)

@@andreasdatzreiter7022 Yes for sure! I first wanted to go for the active variant, but I read a lot of reviews that the amplifier would often switched off when clipping. This would have been a deal breaker for me so I opted for the passive version. Great subs for the price!
