Why the heck i will sink it.This will never touch water. Why spend 5 or 6 years to make it and then put it in water? It's cardboard.

That’s going to look very very simuler to the actual movie model I want try this myself but 7:01 I don’t have that much wooden sticks 😂 but you are a true craftsmen just like my two grandfathers and I’m only ten and their both gone but you are really good at this kind of stuff
Thank you very much. Yeah, you need to spend some money on materials if you want it to took somewhat good. I've spend a lot of money so far on it and unfortunately due to covid i lost my job so my money for this build are very limited to none. If i come to a point when i can't continue i will stop working on it. I hope i don't have to do this.

What did you use to cover the wooden hull? It looked like paper but I wasn’t sure.
First layer is car body filler and than i covered everything with paper.

@@xsicine2560 It's personal work, so you will not find it online. It's printed on a A4 paper and then glued onto cardboard with double sided tape.

The 3D render of Vasilije Ristovic and the 1/72 scale Titanic from Jason King are great help.

Right now I'm working on the plans of SS Normandie, but as a french ocean liner is very difficult search the correct information, so I have work for a long time. Do you know some Internet page where I can buy this plans? or even Do you have it or Know some person who have it?

@@oobawooba9448 My cardboard model looks the way it looks because i studied the ship for 14 years and along these years i build it multiple times. The only thing that i bought was the hull frames plans, anything else is just google files, documents, a lot of pictures, yt videos, other people models etc.. A lot of passion and desire to achieve the goal you wanted.
@@oobawooba9448 After completing the hull frames and combining them together to get the shape, i used barbeque sticks for the bow and stern and in the middle i used lollipop sticks. After that i covered everything with this prntscr.com/109te8c

I didn't forget anything because i'm not making anything inside. And "water proof paint"?? Dude, this is cardboard not iron. 1st, this model is never gonna touch water and 2nd, when it's finish, it will be put in a display case.

@@OzzieBo maybe you never build cardborad ships before I build csrdborad warships that fight with fire in my pool they never ever *melt* no matter what cardborad your talking about paper
Uhm I literally have built cardboard boat models and they’ve all melted or become soggy when I tested them so yeah they do melt.

I make cardborad warship at 1/180 scale that sail they don't get wet alot th turrets fire will fire to burn other ships is real fun at the moment I got scharnhorst she's the pride of the cardborad navy

It's just a picture printed on paper and taped to cardboard.

They are not perfect, they have many mistakes and if you don't know the ship you probably won't notice them.It took me a little over 2 years just to design my own hull plans for both sides. It was very tedious, asking and searching, analyze every single picture i can get my hands on.

Little by little, progress is made every day, but i didn't made huge progress. But i belive i will post the next video sometimes in November or December if everything is ok.

How do you size the paper properly?
For the structure part at the start of the video prntscr.com/ubk1xq, i just cut everything from the sheet, they are already scaled to 1:100. For the things that i drew manually, measure twice, drew once. Even so i had many fails attempts.
