  • 🖌️ How to paint a Wild Rose in Watercolor 🖌️
Join me in this video where I show you an overview of how I painted these large wild roses set against a loose style background, using watercolors. Whatever your experience level, you'll pick up tips in this video which you can apply to your own watercolor paintings.
Here I'll giving you a brief overview of the steps I followed when I painted these roses and the background. If you're going to have a go at a composition like mine, I recommend working no smaller than 12″ x 16″ (31cm x 41cm). You could go big like I did, at 15.5″ x 21″ (39.5cm x 54cm). It makes painting the detailed flower centres much easier.
There's also a full, step-by-step version of this class which is 3 hours long, so if you'd like to paint it with a little more guidance, check out the comprehensive lesson available in my online school, Nature Studio.
