  • Our team at Wigs.com was pleased to have the opportunity to meet Ann Marie Scichili. Like many women, she's been living with hair loss due to alopecia and wearing wigs for years. She shared her story with us, from the time she started losing her hair to now. She said, “Initially it was awful because I didn’t have a choice. And you can’t do anything about it.” She soon realized that in some ways, wearing wigs can be a positive thing. She explained how wigs help save her time in the morning and actually look better than her own hair ever did. “You kind of own it after a while,” she says. “It’s not the end of the world.”
Thank you, Ann Marie. We appreciate you taking the time to share your story.

You look good and are lucky as a women you can pull of the wigs well, as a man with alopecia there's not much we can do to hide it, and with out beard or eyebrows we look strange and people notice.
