Isnt it just darling!? I have definitely had a few mishaps here and there, including broken tea ware on arrival! certainly not ideal but ebay are pretty good with refunds when it isn't your fault.
Thanks you so much! Ofcourse here it is - 300g SR Flour 80g Unsalted Butter 1 tsp Baking powder Punch of salt 30g Castor Sugar 100g dried fruit 150ml Milk The recipe should make about 8 scones Mix the Flour - Baking Powder and salt together in a bowl. Add the cooled butter and rub in. Add the sugar and fruit and stir. Stir in the milk and bring to a dough.
I really enjoyed watching this video, it was so calming and inviting, I\m sure you host the greatest afternoon tea parties. How long did it take to find all of the same matching set? I feel like when I look I can only find parts and I give up because there's always one thing that is never available. Looking forward to more content. 🤗
Thanks a million! Haha I try my hardest but I don’t know about ‘the best’ It didn’t take longer than a month on eBay sometimes I have a little look around to see what is available before starting the collection. Some were right place at the right time and some are from sellers that have had them listed for a while. I allready knew I could get everything I wanted from this particular set so I went ahead. I know what you mean! In the past I have struggled to find pieces but time will eventually get them on the market so sometimes specific reminders on the exact items can help and then it will tell you if something pops up. I prefer to just look tho because eBay reminders are too persistent for my liking 😅
Love your tea videos! I just had dinner but now I'm hungry again 😆 Speaking of bad retail packing, I ordered a royal collections teapot from harrods and it came with NO bubble wrap on anything. It was just the teapot inside a box. I opened the box and found the teapot smashed to bits. Unbelievable. I waited over two weeks for that thing to arrive. I got my money back ha.
Thanks darling! Ah that sounds horrible. I would have expected much better from Harrods their store sells some of the finest and most expensive teaware to date.
I love all of your content! You have the best advice when it comes to taking care of your lady diors. Do you still use the second skin tape to protect your light lady diors? Have you noticed any residue left behind when you take it off?
Hi there, I love to hear it, thankyou so much! My Lady Diors are currently in storage in a controlled temperature environment. And yes I have left the protector on for several months at a time. The only thing I would caution is if you were to store or use the second skin in hot and humid weather for a long period as the glue could melt but colder climates it is fine and removes nicely.
@@nikitaamerie thank you, that makes sense! I was wondering if warmer temperatures would do that. I had a near brush with disaster today with my new blush mini lady Dior and a new pair of black yoga pants. I was able to clean it up with a damp microfiber cloth. I am most worried about my sand colored lady d-joy so I will try the protector. I meant to also ask, do you have a travel hook that you use for your lady diors or would that probably do more harm than good on the handles? Thank you again, your content has been such a joy to me in the process of acquiring my little collection of lady diors. I couldn’t have made my decisions without the video where you go over the sizing! I would love to see an updated video where you show your whole collection, I know you have acquired more bags since that video.
So lovely ❤
Nikita I adore your teap content! would love to see a teaware collection video one day! No pressure ofcourse, once you are settled!
One day I'd be more than happy to share that!
Do you have a Brown Betty teapot? I have heard that they are a classic. British icon.
I do not have one, they look very classic indeed and im sure they will fit a very timeless aesthetic for a humble everyday tea!
11:05 this teacup 😍😍😍 have you found any issues with the second hand peices you've bought off ebay?
