Can someone put a compilation of all the chances Bruno creates. How can you supposedly be an elite chance creator when for years we’ve said our striker is doing the graveyard shift.

Bruno creates those chances mostly for our wingers, not striker and our wingers rarely provide any good crosses/chances for our striker.
Don't deny the fact Bruno creates chances, but those passes go to the wingers and the wingers are also selfish
Think he's 2nd to De Bruyne in terms of chances created since he came to the Prem.
He has massive flaws ,but creating chances ain't one.
because most teams have creativity coming from lw rw cam and fullbacks plus cms...it's not complicated
Genuinely baffling that Mark keeps praising Bruno as a character. Character is manifestly his biggest failing. Sulks when things are going badly, blames everyone around him when things are going wrong, literally the last person I'd ever have in a leadership role. I'm not sure all managers would pick him - managers like Pep and Klopp rate character very highly and I don't think either of them would want Bruno in their teams, not because he isn't talented enough to play for them, but because he doesn't have the character they look for in their players.

If he didn't have the character, he certainly would not have been handed the armand. There have been as many ex players praising him, as there have been criticising him.

And it’s always been true, or he just makes a bad decision, the issue is that for a while people ignored it because in those same games where he was doing that REGULARLY, he would score or get an assist which just meant it never got highlighted
What you’re saying about Bruno is EXACTLY the same issue with our wide players. They should ALL be told that their job is to CREATE opportunities for the striker, their job ISN’T to take a shot every time they get near the edge of the box or want to cut inside so they can shoot. Also, too many of our players don’t do THEIR jobs properly, we don’t play or move as a unit up & down the pitch, that’s why there’s a huge gap from back to front, Bruno also needs telling that he needs to play deeper & NOT either alongside or just behind the striker.
The solution for all our forwards is to KEEP IT SIMPLE & do the BASICS RIGHT.
Stop speaking sense, I said from 3seasons ago, as a coach I am more concerned with my midfielders and wingers getting more goals than my centre forward, something is wrong, but ppl too stupid to notice.

I think the most clear example of Bruno being a detriment to the team on his current form since ten hag refuses to drop him is when Zirkzee was starting earlier in the season, since Zirkzee was dropping deep and taking some of Bruno's responsibility in the buildup giving him less opportunities to break down the attack with a wasteful ball we ended up creating way more chances especially for the striker than we have with Hojlund. Not saying Hojlund is a problem at all hes been fed on scraps because Bruno keeps looking for the hollywood ball out to the wingers but i think it shows how having a more restrained creative progresser of the ball in the final third helped us at the start of the season.
Yeah I would say that shows exactly why ppl have been wanting eth to play Zirkzee and Hojlund both together.
At the end of the day Hojlund is mainly a finisher and zirkzee is a creator or a 9.5 as he calls himself

Biggest mistake we made was giving him a new contract, we have locked ourselves into this style of play, even worse is he is the captain and will always play.

The narrative for years is that our striker is doing the “graveyard shift” but also that “Bruno creates more chances than anyone in the league” how does that even make sense? It’s like saying this parent is so good, they feed their children 5 times a day with healthy nutritional meals, then you look at the kids and they’re skin and bones.

Bruno was good in Ole's system only. He is irrelevant to any team/club wishing and expecting to dominate possession, keep the ball well and create clear chances at the right moment
I'm sure I've read that before Utd signed Bruno one of the scout concerns was how much he gave the ball away and especially in the final 3rd leading to the opposition gaining scoring opportunities.
As an MUFC ST holder for 45 years I have to say he's one of the worst captains we've ever had. He does not lead and all he does is moans. If it were down to me, he's out of the club period.

It wasn't a no look pass, he looked twice if you watch the video up close. This is the kind of passing we need from him. Awareness, close and shorter passes rather than long inaccurate passes.
The problem is that Bruno can't dribble, he can't keep the ball close to him, on top of that... he's nervous on the ball. He does not radiate calmness on the ball, because he is restless he often runs around like a headless chicken and closes spaces, and ends up as a left winger, for example. Bruno is not good enough if the field is made compact by current top football, he just needs space and time.
Our problem for years have been no service through the CAM or wingers.
No more inverted wingers no more holywood passes crosses and through balls service to the striker
A player that gave away the ball 34 times in a single game can't be an elite footballer, and thats facts.
As an Arsenal supporter and watching Brunos underlying number drop significantly every year since his peak season not only in numbers but also with the eye test. He looks awful and doesn’t do the fundamentals that would help United keep possession. It’s just so sad.

It’s not just Bruno. Too many of our players give away possession too often - whether it’s sloppy passes, shooting on sight, or running blindly into defenders. Is it a surprise that we conceded lots of shots and goals? With the high line ETH wants us to play, it’s tactical suicide. Too many selfish players, and a manager that either can’t coach it out of his players, or doesn’t want to because these are his tactics.
We have to drop players that don’t perform like city do no matter who they are
All our forward players are set up to cut in and shoot that’s why we don’t score enough goals- to predictable
I don't think Bruno is gone. It's the whole final third problem. Inside forwards too predictable, and slow in transition. Forwards: Zirkzee too slow to play one two, Hojlund just weirdly doesn't get any support at all. When the whole attacking unit got problems, Bruno's problem will be put under magnifying glass.
Bruno has been a good servant to the club, but he didn't deserve the new contract.They should have sold him or told him to find himself another club willing to even match his previous wages

It's no myth or hype George Best was the best player i ever saw.I wasn't around in the Duncan Edwards era.The Holy Trinity were an incredible trio and i'm so pleased that i am old enough to have seen them play.

Stats like chances created don't mean much, depends on the quality of the chance and if they are for your best forward who is likely to score.
Its a bit like a midfielder who hits a million short backwards and sideways passes. Sure they will have high successful passes stats, possession retention too but what will it mean if you dont score goals and win games.
He played poorly for most of last season, showed up for the cup final, what do UTD do.......give him a mega new deal.
I think it's more than just being Bruno's style, look at the forward players Rashford, Garnacho, all they want to do is run... One pass back to Bruno, they get the ball back from him and it's bye bye build up play.. I believe Bruno can adjust but before we even ask him to do that, the forward players have to adjust and stop thinking in counter attacking style always.. We need more Amads in the attacking third..

Bruno cripples any midfield he is playing in with his playing style. Gives absolutely nothing if he isn’t on the ball. Even then he is more likely to overhit a long ball than the short pass to keep the ball.
All ive seen him to do is fail to execute simple passes...him and the rest of them all take too long, a serious lack of intensity.
We’re just far too predictable. Every single ball goes out to Rashford even if he’s not in the best position. Watch Onanas goal kicks every single kick aims for Rashford

Many of this can be brought on Ten Hag. Bruno should not play every single second of every game yet.... he has for 3 straight seasons now. He bought Erikson & mount, shoehorns them as 8's. He will even try Bruno at RW before having the balls to drop him.
Bruno need chimestry with other players , he is pretty much alone so he try reckless things . Mount is potentially the only player he could team with in the whole team and rashford is the worst option he could hope to team up with on the side
Bruno is a 1 trick pony. He is about the highlight play, pass or shot. He isn't the most technical player when it comes down to it.
Bruno’s the only player that wants to get assists the others all want glory when that happens all the creativity drops off. Look at Palace last season when Eze, Mateta and Olise were all trying to set the others up and between them they got assists and goals

I love Bruno Fernandes and he’s my favourite player. For Manchester United to help improve his hopefully a bad patch of form and nothing worse. He needs captaincy stripped off him to take that pressure off. Sometimes it swallows you up as a player. Look at Maguire, now he’s putting in performances that we’d never expect to see. There’s loads of issues at this club right now and it breaks my heart to see it but relating to this video only, Bruno maybe needs captaincy off him to set the bar on how Manchester United captains should be performing as well as leading.
