I think it is a great idea to bring your dog along with you on your camping trips.
he's a great dog but the hair was a major issue
When you showed us the dog hair, my first thought was.. May aswell bring the doggo! So glad you did ❤️

Charlie is so so sweet he's living the dream he loves the beach and i think he will totally enjoy his little holiday. life is good when you share it with a dog. My dog pudding likes the sand but the waves she is not to keen on.

I cannot understand why you wouldn't take your dog on every camping trip. Mine does and to be honest would be lost without him. Great videos so let's see more of the dog.

Dogs chew grass when they need help with digestion, or if they have a bit of an upset tummy.
They also chew it because unlike a cats rough sandpaper tongue that when the wash themselves their fur balls up and they hack them out, whereas a dog gets the hair building up in their stomach so the grass makes them throw up.
You have some epic adventures absolutely luv it especially the lochness trip
Brilliant Videos mate.....BTW the steaks are in them plastic boxes to deter theft. In North Wales, our coffee,steak,spirits and even cheese is kept in them 🤣🤣
They've started putting the cheese in them up here now also

@@wanderingwhere We've never taken our drone anywhere except outside our house since we bought it after the pandemic started. We have the longest lockdown in the world and we couldn't go anywhere, so we need lots of practice flying it once we get our campervan on the road. I'm glad your drone still works after it crashed. By the way, I love your little stove--we've been looking for one that size that can work on both butane and LPG/propane.
@@wanderingwhere We are in the Philippines. We just got a small stove online that works with propane in a fiberglass tank that doesn't explode in case of fire, but unfortunately the European company that makes it doesn't sell it in small tanks here. There are camping stoves with butane here too, but with a hyperactive 4-year-old, we had to go with the fiberglass propane system.
Thanks for vid...loved the views and commentary. I've just bought a van that was professionally converted but would like to do some of the stuff you're doing. Good tips about Hunstanton too about the councils hiking up prices and very little free places to stay for the night. Have subscribed and look forward to more of your adventures.

Maybe have a wander round a charity/ furniture store for something to adapt or cut to size? Plastic storage boxes often have a 30cm height… so cheap boxes and a some mdf on top?
The camping channels are raving about trekology ul80 (?) inflatable mattresses. Comfortable and waterresistant ( handy for winter, when standard mattresses get affected by moisture from condensation.

I just downsized from a hulking great Sante Fe 5 seater 4x4 with seats which flattened to a duster 4x4 no fully flattened. All i use in the duster is one of those mats with a egg box look to it on top of a blankie then my sleeping bag and a blankie. Its been toasty so far. There are still lots of free to park overnight wee beaches up here so far.

Hi, That was a great video really nice. I went there this summer and it really is quite an anti camper van area, so you did well to find a place to park. I decided to spend my money else where pretty quick and moved on.

As for the longer bed. You could use the passenger side and just slide the front seat forward to make the extra room if your going to be taking it in and out.

Have a search for car camping box that should give you some ideas.
A single sheet, maybe 2, of plywood from B&Q might don it. They'll even cut it for you.

IKEA mate have telescopic bed rods so yo can open it what you need then put a plank of wood on top then you will have storage space underneath

I’m inspired to go car camping , my first venture is the Love Van fest at york 2022. I can’t afford a van but emailed ahead and happy to accept camper car so if we go (yes two of us- me n my 25yr old lad) in one tiny Renault scenic). Should be an adventure lol. Wish me luck.

@@wanderingwhere looking forward to it. Bought some magnetic blackout blinds that work a treat, and are a perfect fit too. As well as a tailgate awning but the jury’s out on that one to be fair
Watching some of the japanese car camping videos, they have a kind of modular table at the back to take the level up to match the folded back seats. In our kangoo we've made wooden boxes for both sides of the back and then a double hinged flap that can fold over the back seats like a backward facing seat and flaps down flat at night to be the bed.

its less to setup and the floor doesnt get soggy when it rains 😉 give it a go, you might love it, like i say to peeps try a spot thats known to have campers and vans for your first time, safety in numbers and all that
I now have a Citroen c4 2013 diesel so I still need to try n see if shit will fit in, the back seats don’t go all way down at back

Are they generic window blockers? Or did you buy them for your model car?, you could tint your rear windows, with the blockers, at night, with curtains behind the front seats,
Also if you are in busier car parks showing the rear of the car, you can stealth camp and no one would know you are even in the car
its just some cheap thermawrap i bought and sprayed works well, although the premade bespoke car ones are brilliant just not that cheap

I was thinking how do you get a sunset and sunrise on the east coast. But apparently In that area you can. I stopped at the “never turn back” pub Great Yarmouth caister on sea. It’s on park for the night. Nice little spot.

Ahh the dog bless him hea great but he's wild never calms down so really difficult to take hum with so little space

Hi enjoying the vids. Just curious, why do you cook inside the car when the weather's fine outside? In the month or so since I've been living in my car, I haven't had to cook inside once and would only consider doing it if the weather forced me to.
ive a little setup in the roof box i pull out now and again to cook outside but its not always possible or practical where i parkup, it is nice when i find a spot that i can alf-resco
Fair play. I reckon you could probably get away with it more often than you'd think though. I think it's about common sense and consideration for others. It can't be illegal to pull up into a safe legal parking spot and brew a coffee can it? Or fry an egg? I think as long as the parking spot is quiet, you should be alright. As I said before, I do it all the time. I dread the day I'm forced to cook in the car.
yeh deffo that (consideration), funny though i see it all the time, alot of the time more elderly people, pull up anywhere with a view, pull out a table and chairs and get the kettle funny as
