This happened in my city and the lady was just evil and I don't feel dhe got enough time. The baby has gone through multiple surgeries and is recovering. Nothing excuses this nothing.
Seems like racism was heavy within this grandmother and she felt some type of way towards her son reproducing with a white girl.. And if thats the case, she probably resented both her granddaughter and her sons baby mama.. still not a valid excuse to harm anyone.
There is another video of this that is more focused when they were outside and the father was absolutely hysterical. It was hard to watch him scream and cry.
I do not believe this behavior is sudden, the parents never should have had their newborn around someone that is mentally unstable and racist. Very sad for everyone involved.
Just the title is so sad stop having kids if you cannot take care of them. And if you don’t want kids. Stop leaving your children alone with that aren’t in their right mind. Mental health is real. She just confessed to her son but I think that she will be tried as a Mental patient. I think they will say she wasn’t in her right mind state
This made me upset but it makes me feel worse when I realized this happened on my birthday, I know things like this happen all the time but it just hits differently for me.I hate situations like this the grandma reminds me of someone I know who's called me a half breed and my mother a white devil...It was, to say terrible and frightening, but for someone to say stuff like that and also hurt a baby must have severe mental health problems or evil
Pheeeewwww, the child will survive. Poor baby. As for her... Sure, mental, out of her mind, all that. But why? She tried to tell you why she snapped. Did you listen? That said, I wish that if she had to turn that gun somewhere, it wasn't her daughter-in-law, much less her grand-daughter, but someone that actually had power in the systems that hurt her. Better yet if she had had no gun to turn anywhere, but God bless the Second Amendment and your tragically inadequate Constitution, mir8? Pfffff... This isn't right no matter what. And the real discussion is, how to prevent it from happening again. Stay the course, and you won't. There will be other outbursts, other snapped minds. I just wish they remember to focus on the real enemy. And that enemy isn't a child or any person that's as powerless as you. If you want to make a power statement, make it where it will matter. This isn't it. This is just sickening all around. Good recovery to them both. And all the curses and woes on those that cause and maintain the conditions that lead to attrocities such as this.
There was no where in the story where she was wronged by anyone. Also are we really taking her incoherent ramblings as factual life experiences when they didn't even correlate? Like your whole comment is predicated on the story that she was "a victim of the system" and had a vaguely tough life so we should focus on hating "the system and powerful", when all we know is that she had clear mental issues, lost her job and got dumped, then attacked her son's baby mam and nearly killed her granddaughter cause they were white. I dunno your comment comes off more as victim blaming and just looking for ammo to hate "the system" with rather than anything else that's related to the video. Like who cares about the system that has no semblance of relevance to this story oitside of her legit delusional ramblings, why even divert to involve your personal dislike in this story about a racially motivated attack by a mentally ill woman on a BABY? But hating the system was the most important part to you, I guess🤷♂️
@@SpectreBagels First of all, I began by literally empathising with the victim and centering it. And I never implied or stated that THEY were to blame, or that they were part of the system. But let's ignore that because it doesn't suit the narrative you're trying to spin about me, I guess. Second, you are witnessing the telling of a criminal case, involving the application of state power and violent coercion on an individual. Yeah, the system has no part in this and isn't remotely connected to the case. Not even cops and judges are the system, according to you. But to get past obvious and easy debate-bro owns and into some serious discussion, thirdly, her obvious mental illness didn't develop and didn't get to the point she would dehumanise and murder her grandchild in a vacuum, did it? She wasn't left without help or support on her own accord, did she? She was victimised for quite a few decades before she became the victimiser. And what you fail to realise, because you obviously have even less grounding in studies of mental health than you do in criminal policy, is that even paranoid and/or psychotic delusions have internal logic that interacts with the environment. She blew the smoke in the wrong direction - but here you are, assuming there is no fire, because the direction of the smoke isn't what it should be. Fourthly, here's the shocker: I am a jurist, and thus focused on the goal of my scientific discipline, which in the case of Criminal Law, especially penal policy, is that "NEVER AGAIN" thing. That is why I spent years looking into (and helping author some) comparative studies on the impact of poverty, race, and a few other eugenics-stemming social discriminations, have had on judicial systems all over the globe, but since this vile society is the Imperial Centre, you bet it featured heavily. And here you are, flying in the face of every study conducted in the last 20 or 30 years, that has determined that the impact is so pervasive that it is baked into the operation of the system as a whole, from constitutional norms to incarceration management and the death penalty. Do you even realise how many SYSTEMIC failings have had to occur for this heinous tragedy to be allowed to happen by the hands and mind a singular almost powerless person to her equally powerless family? I don't think you do, and it's hardly a surprise, you've probably never had occasion to either studied or envision a society that does better. Let me give you a basic run-up: even within the context of criminal law as it exists, mens rea is complicated, and for good reasons. The Ancient Romans had figured out as much, enough to incorporate it into their legal doctrine, and they were far more savage, brutal and absolute than the US in their punishments. But even outside of the criminal "justice" system as it exists, I'll refer you to the above studies (and no, I won't bother sourcing them, this is a RUclips comment at the end of the day, you evidently have an internet connection with access to many search engines, and I've exactly zero reason to perform highly skilled unpaid labour for someone I don't know.) Everything points to the need for a systemic change if we don't want babies to get murdered by mentally ill grandmothers. The other alternative is active, fully-genocidal eugenics. Now, I know America has gotten particularly fascy as of late, but to sane people out there, that isn't a solution, it's still the most heinous crime against humanity. So, the question I was left with is, how does one ignore all this and try to paint a comment designed to informedly and relatively mildly underline an aspect of the case no one seems to be talking about? I have an educated good guess as to how: you have a deeply-ingrained ideology of personal responsibility and a profound investment in the current system, as well as a deep desire to see people punished when they go against it in any way. But tell me where societal responsibility ends and I'll tell you where personal responsibility begins. For my part, and with all my knowledge, I think I can pinpoint the exact moment: the moment she took that life. I won't ignore what happened before, just because it doesn't suit a cozy narrative about my society, just like I didn't and won't ignore the fact of the murder and its heart-breaking and society-breaking impact. You are appalled and outraged by violent crimes and want a perp punished (except when the crime is genocide and the perps are your own people, then y'all don't care all that much, apparently, babies can die horribly so long as they're brown, especially if they're Muslim). Congrats. That doesn't make you special. You have the same instinct nearly every human has had since the dawn of societies. But I look further than that. I want no baby to be murdered by a grandmother (or an Israeli White Phosphorus bomb supplied by the US, for that matter) EVER AGAIN. It's all connected. It's an interaction of myriads of disparate forces that make up this nightmare we live in. That you don't see it doesn't mean that it isn't so. Remember all that next time you want to imply I (and any I) am a rebel without a cause that doesn't care about people but just "hates the system". I am a rebel, and I do loathe the system, but I have both good reason and good cause; the cause being that I actually care about people. Even people on the other side of the world than me. So tell me now, who centers the victims in their analysis and goals and who centers their own personal emotional hang-ups? You A-hole.
Noo a lot of black people who have never had any negative experiences with white people in authority, adopt other people's trauma as their own. It's called victim mentality. That lady never mentioned a specific person or situation, she's literally talking about what happened to her ancestors years ago. Her mental state combined with clear racism caused this.
i like that this channel is like family and we all get to chill, it cures my loneliness
Big family🤝💪🏾

Sadly the government in many areas are for forcing birth. Just going to get worse with evil people
They literally said what the story was. They didn't leave the baby alone with her she chased and fought the mom in a room and shot the baby
I think all the stress made her lose her mind.
