  • This video shows you how to fix your print quality issues on your Xerox Docucolor!
    One problem could be that you need to clean your ROS windows on Xerox Docucolor 240, 250, 252. This fixes uneven density prints.
    I had a white streak running through the process direction on my black and white prints. This video shows you where to locate the BLACK ROSS window as well as the C,M & Y ROSS windows and demonstrates how to clean them.

      If the problem is that the machine is failing to grip the paper from one of the trays then it may be the that the rollers that grip the paper have become too smooth. There are plastic, rubber and foam rollers in the machine. I find some success with spraying "rubber rejuvenator" onto the plastic and rubber rollers. Below is a link to one:

    Does anyone know how to resolve error code 117-363 on a xerox 6128 MFP? I've tried everything that I could find on the internet without success. I was even able to start the machine in diagnostics mode and run both the Printer and Fax/Scanner diagnostics and everything reported "ok" so I don't understand why I can not rid the display of the error code as I can no longer use the printer with it there. While going through the printer diagnostics, it printed out pages that were required as part of the diagnostics so I know the printer still works. any help would be appreciated.

      Not familiar with that machine. I can only recommend checking for paper jams, even small scraps stuck in the machine can set off error codes, carefully dust off all sensors and make sure all doors/drawers are fully closing an that all parts are properly seated.

    Could dusted ROS have relation with uneven density on the full coverage print page? Example trying to print full coverage on A3 page with color #F2D2BD . And I have different color density from left to right on page. Tried tests with runing full cmyk and cmyk gradient and it look ok. Only see issues when mixing colours? Maybe transfer belt? I tried to clean ROS, change fuzer, still same...

      When running a test don't do it at 100%, do it at 50%. You'll then be able to isolate which color is the problem by examining the density of each color on the print out. You cannot notice ros issues at 100%.

      @@vkjnrokis So yes, uneven density could be color drum, IBT belt, ROS, or developer. If you have a photo I may be able to determine the most likely culprit.

      So I have made so far: changed 2BTR, changed IBT and cleaning blade, cleaned ROS windows as in your video, all toner cartridges are new, changed K drum and corotron, changed C drum with developer roller (as it was 30%), other drums ar for about ~70%, changed fuzer adn the problems is still here...I would really would like you to look at scan images of CMYK, thank you

    Does the ROS problem creates white lines when Printing?
    Thanks a lot

    • @mariopradojrPB
      @mariopradojrPB  3 года назад +2

      Two issues may create white lines on your prints.
      1) A contaminant the on ROS window which blocks the light and thus fails to transfer toner properly.
      Or.
      2) An obstruction in the toner/developer housing that blocks the toner from transferring to the transfer belt.
      Obstructions in the toner/ developer housing result in crisp white lines.
      White lines with feathered or soft edges is most likely an ROS contaminent.

      shouldnt it have only two ROS windows? One is for K and Y and the second one for M and Y?

    • @mariopradojrPB
      @mariopradojrPB  2 года назад

      @@vkjnrokis It depends on the machine. The Doc240 has 4 ros windows.

      Sometimes poor quality toner may be the issue, also check to see if the clear mylar blades on the developed housing have degraded.

      Just make sure to clean the machine often if toner gets in the wrong places it could really mess up the machine.
