This is SUGA with his producer hat. He always said whenever he produced for another artist, he will think about what works for them, artistry wise & commercial wise. Not only That That fits for Psy, but it's a perfect celebration/party song for his comeback as well as the end of the pandemic. I just love Suga's versatility.
'That That' is a VIBE. It's one of my favourite Collab from any member of BTS. PSY still have his vibe and I am loving it. He is such an icon. It's so great to see this two doing a song together. Epic Collab in the history of k-pop. This song is so fun and always give me positive energy. So proud of our producer and rapper Min Suga. His each and every work is lovable. There are so many things I love about Suga. One thing in particular is his unwillingness to do something, but when he does it, it turns out dope. The beat, the lyrics, his cadence, everything. Btw, our boy killed this choreo. Shoutout to PSY for always bringing the energy and giving us fun anthems to dance and sing along to.

Fun fact about the live performance is that, days before this surprise live appearance of SUGA on PSY’s concert, it was Jhope’s Jack In The Box listening party where SUGA was the only member who wasn’t able to attend because he got a fever. Days later, literally like 2-3 days, this surprise live appearance on PSY’s concert happened. So let us be reminded that he was still recovering from his fever while performing.
‘That That’ is one of the many songs that makes me instantly happy whenever the first beat drops. One of my favorite collabs forever, definitely. So I am happy that you finally get to listen and watch to it. It’s not always that we see SUGA doing this kind of stuff because as we all know, it’s “SUGA”. If you know, you know. Haha.

One thing about Yoongi is that yes he's introverted and quiet but thats when you realize he is meant to be on stage and perform. He's confident and entertaining when it comes to him performing, his solo tour and bts' concerts are proof of that :) He's a natural when it comes to doing what he loves in front of an audience. 💜

When psy announced this single, it was funny and very unexpected. Like on the first day, he just posted the title 'That That'. Why it's funny because after this announcement there were a lot of tweets like 'oh psy is back to end BTS' or like 'King is back to show how its done' and all that. But on the next day he elaborate the post with 'That That (prod. Suga of BTS)'. And the next day he further elaborate as prod. & ft. Suga. And the next he released the teaser with Suga in it and we were like Aahhhh. It was so hyped.

Psy is a well respected and popular artist in Korea. He has his own music company. Psy is known for his other music but Gangnam style is the only song that was popular in US. BTS and PSY first interacted publicly during Inkigayo, a music program like 8 years ago I believe. Psy was about to perform his song called Daddy that won first place during that time and many artists were also on stage. Tae step out to the front and started dancing the choreography 😂. Later Psy tweeted about it. There is a video of the performance. And I’m sure many Army commented about how the collab between suga and Psy happened so I’ll leave it to them.😊 My Memory is a little fuzzy so sorry if anything is wrong. ARMY, please correct me if any info is wrong.
Thanks to Suga's production, Psy made a successful comeback. It was at the top of the music charts. Psy slumped after Gangnam Style, but found success again with That That.

Psy did Gangnham Style as a joke fun thing that went viral. He’s been on many variety shows where I saw one where people had to guess who was the real Psy while they all were behind curtains either speaking, singing, etc. and then they showed the real Psy. Gannam Style was one of the songs they sang! He has done ballads, all kinds of other and rap, but I’m not sure about hard rap and is to me, as a non Korean but Asian person, still a legend. So we got 2 legends together here and friends now. Psy’s energy is incredible.

I got to see PSY live in NJ this past October and waited 4 hrs for PSY (it was a large event with different Korean singers/groups) and PSY was so energetic. He did Gangnam Style and That That among other songs. I have video of That That but ummm it turned more into karaoke w/ Nicole b/c I was yelling the lyrics the whole song, including the dance moves🤣🤣 everyone was up and dancing, worth the 4 hr wait 😁

Psy is an extremely talented singer, rapper, songwriter, producer, label owner (P Nation). He's been in the business since 1999 (or so) and has a very interesting personal and professional history. His raps usually use controversy and humor to spread socially conscious messages. (Let's just say the Korean Government and he are not friendly. LOL.) He came from a very wealthy family, went to Berklee School of Music and his stage name Psy come from the word "psycho." I love his work.
