    Thank you! I'm starting an African flower blanket, I just made one from a slightly different tutorial and I'm not feeling it. I'm SO glad I saw this before I made a hundred of them. I enjoy the style of your tutorial too, you sped up right where I would have normally fast forwarded. :)

    Good afternoon Jo , thank you for this video - I am doing one just now and prefer your look - I like how you crochet these much better then others I have seen - I was putting too many knots to secure the yarn -
    I also like your yarn "Catania" I think I'm getting some of that for my stash ;)

    I am making an Owl, how do you do the white solid eyes?

    • @joscrocheteria566
      @joscrocheteria566  8 лет назад

      Hi Corey!You just take the circle as described in the pattern and a yarn needle. With white yarn you go through both loops on the circle and down between each dc on the hexagon below!Did that answear your question?// Jo

    When doing the owl pillow can you just match your hook to your yarn ?

      +Amiea Elaban Hi Amiea! :) Yes, the awesome thing with the African Flowers is that you can use any yarn you want! :) Depends on how big you want your animal to be! :) In the owl pattern the ears use one size bigger needle but maybe it's not needed if you use another yarn than suggested but I've seen Maggie in all sizes and colors :) Would love to see yours when it's done! :)

      +Patricia Chaar I'm using hook size 3mm or (C/D) :) But for the African Flower you just need a hook that matches your yarn :)

    horrible tutorial, no use of ch 1 between spaces so it made my piece curl inwards

    Yarn in too thin. Camera is too far from the work and we cannot see what you are doing. There is no verbal instruction in this video - just some really annoying music. Moving on.
