These children are so upright and a real blessing. I even got emotional and amzed by their honest but resectiful feedback as they talked with their parents. May Holy Spirit keep them upright and godly.
Hi Pastor Liz and Pastor Solomon, thank you for the vlog. It was a great idea to discuss with your children things they considered embarrassing. It is always good to validate their feelings. You have very smart and respectful children. May God continue to bless and keep you all covered under the blood of Jesus Christ. Stay blessed!!! 🙏🏿🙏🏿🎉🙌🏽👏🏾💕🙏🏿🙏🏿
Rev Sol and Liz, you are willing to be vulnerable before your children. That is so special. You took their comments with grace, and they extended grace to you too. A great vlog.
Tehilah and Tzuriel are very smart and their awareness is on point. Very observant and very gentle when critiquing mummy and daddy. So proud of you both, you have this parenting thing down packed.
Amen...Tehilah and Tzuriel are really intelligent kids...Congratulations to you Revs. Solomon and Liz for raising intelligent and God fearing kids ..young as they are but they can express themselves well and inculcated to them the word of God..intelligent children...God bless WeareOcampo..
Good job Tehilah, "you could say it in secret..." I'm sure most of us can say that there are things that we wish our parents would only say in secret. This is wise to ask your children their opinions about your parenting. I think they are learning now how to express their opinions to you respectfully and you will listen. I'm listening to your children share their hearts about being embarrassed from extra attention. Yes, that's the struggles that come with interracial relationships and also being children of mixed heritage. It's what people aren't used to seeing they will give extra attention. I would tell them though being unique and standing out is special too and us mixed people show the world that love crosses racial and ethnic boundaries, and representing more than one population of people is okay too. But to be honest Rev. Solomon and Liz, it isn't just the Philippines and I'm sure you know this. I find that since leaving NYC and even moving around in the United States, I got way more attention, I mean even from people who look similar and share the same backgrounds. It's just NOT okay to stare in NYC. I learned that early in life and it stayed with me; but around the U.S. I discovered that it was okay too in some places. lol, To this day, I'm still most comfortable in big cosmopolitan cities and it can be anywhere, Africa, Europe, Asia, South America, and you are likely to just get less stares. In NYC I like to say if you are looking for attention then it's not the place to be. lolBut God helps us to see and love ALL people as He seems them (living out John 3:16) regardless whether others see us that way or not. Lastly, Liz you and the kids are also beautiful there in the Philippines; your beauty stands out too. I really sometimes people look at us because they truly like who they see. Keep pressing on brother and sister, it can be challening, I know.
What a God-talented family...Reverend Solomon and Reverend Liz..your children are such a God-fearing children...May our Heavenly Father showers them with His Wisdom. Knowledge and Favour....I like following your channel...May God Bless your family 👪 🙏

God bless and bond this family more🙏🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹.
It is a shame that the world sees color n not the person’s character, moral upbringing ect this is how I was raised we r not to see the color of ur skin just The persons, character and moral upbringing you were teaching your children, right God bless you thank you for sharing your life with us. Many blessings from North Texas.❤
Kids feelings matter🤩Great to watch parents sit and have conversations with their children, it provides respect, comfort and trust. Sorry parents - when you think your so cool, but the kids ripped that away with the things we do😂😂😂😂Awesome vlog😃
Wow praise God for how open minded parents you are Ptr Solomon & Ptr Liz, you consider your kids of their feelings may those parents watching in this vlog of yours have pick a lessons from your kids and from you Ptr Sol & Ptr Liz, so amazing.
God bless them they were so kind about what is embarrassing to them and amazing on how they showed us all on how we teach them at all times. May God use them all in a mighty way as they have amazing parents to show how God uses in mighty ways. Keep parenting the way you are. You are doing amazing
Your children are truly blessed and they are filled with the Love for God, it shows in their voices. You are doing a great job in raising your kids. Yes, racism is real and rampant in the world, nothing new under the sun. Keep God in you and children's life, the love of God goes beyond racism and hate, God is Love.
I was in a mixed marriage with a black man. We had a son together who I raised mostly as a single Mom. I had to accept being stared at, and it didn’t make me too embarrassed but my husband would get angry. I just kinda expected it, and I would say hi. Staring goes with the territory, since we stand out, especially since we married in 1978 in Ohio. The kids need not associate shame with being different; they are children of the most high God. They can always feel proud, as can you as parents. Now I have 2 handsome grandsons out of that marriage and I love them more than life.
Teaching your kids to have constructive criticisms… plus giving their suggestions will help them in the future to make good decisions. Good parenting style 💕 In my field ( MA & MSc Psychology)you are using the most common parenting style (authoritative parenting style). Very good. Impressive!
Candid and a very special conversation. I like that the kids are free to share. That means they are not afraid of you and you are doing a great job as parents! Hugs and love to the Ocampo's.
I feel sad ,when talking about colors ,how people look at them😩😩 A remember when I meet one African kid in school talking to me,that nobody play with him because he is black,my heart felt so sad 😩🥲and I try to talk to him and explain that there’s no black or white we are same and only one who created us ❤ And to tell him he can be my friend ,and he smile at me!
“I keep on forgetting” (that you’re too embarrassing to ask!) 😂❤ Kids are the best! Liz, looking so pretty in those dangly earrings and that beautiful blue shirt that matches the kiddos. 💙 Your daughter looks so much like her daddy. 😊. It’s really great to talk about emotions like embarrassment with your kids. Especially because they can look ‘different’ in the Philippines and attract attention. Maybe as you gain subscribers, also because of ‘fame.’ Like grief, and other feelings that we think as ‘bad,’ your children can learn to work through them by naming and owning them. Yes, they can be hard, but they don’t have to fear them. ☺️
Rev Liz... is making me happy...😊😊😊😊😊 weuh my Kenyan sister has to ensure her embarrassing moment is coool... Daddy is in Godly trouble... Liz be there " am embarrassed too"... Ooh this once happened to me as well I turned Grey when I was still a teenager one day I visited my 9 yr old son to his school the teacher had asked me to come and see her. I talked to the teacher finished our discussions him he was seated in class with other children, and I went. When came home after school he was so furious blaming me of coming to his school with my hair uncovered the only I asked him was did I embarrassing you? and he quickly said yess. Years went by now he was in his high school in a boarding School he was now mature one day there was a parents visitation day to see their children at School. I told him before he left home that I won't be able to cist him because of my Grey since I didn't want to walk around with a covered head because I was not yet 30 by then. He apologized apologize and explain how he now understands that there is nothing wrong to have Grey hair because it's not by choice soon thus how our children grow as time goes by they will realize that some other things they see as embarrassrment are real not
