This was FANTASTIC!
If you go back and watch the part where the mask gets put on Anakin. You will hear him yell very faintly, "Padme help me!"
It was a dream come true for many, including myself.
They had to add more stuff because in the movie it kept on going to a different fight scene so they had to fill in what wasn’t shown,and the new stuff that was added was in the oldest version of this fight
So obi really tried to chop off anakins hands?
I wish they included them throwing lava and obi having 2 sabers when he tripped anakin
@@andrewcruz3837 That part was actually a scrapped moment in the Count Dooku fight whee Dooku tried to cut off Anakin's hands part way through the fight.
9:46 him having blue here was supposed to represent that he was kind of in molten state, where though he’d become a sith, he could still have been brought back from the brink. But when the fight ends the way it does, that hope is lost.
That fact that the animator went out of their way to animate the deleted scene from season 7 of clone wars told me that this was going to be quality work
I have to say, there were some differences between this and live action. These differences are actually great, because it fills in the gaps between cuts in the fight. Edit: so yea, there’s new stuff, but I’m pretty sure it’s taken from the novelization.
Also, there’s slight differences in lines and behavior, but it actually makes more sense. When Sidious finds Vader by the lava, he just says nothing and looks mad, and Anakin even looks ashamed. This is because Sidious is really mad at Anakin for failing. That’s how it actually was in the novelizations, and this animation makes that more clear.
The duel both showed acrobatic and heavy slashes perfectly embodied their emotions
They are not trying to bonk them with Light sticks
They are really trying to cut each other
4:25 that did not happen in the movie, but it’s a cool Easter egg. There were several deleted scenes from the movie and one of them was of Anakin pulling this trick in the fight against Dooku, where he is forced to let go of his lightsaber briefly, so he tosses it and catches it with his other hand quickly. This was a stunt Hayden himself did, but the scene was unfortunately cut.
Hayden is a beast considering he also did all of Anakin's stunts for the Revenge Of The Sith Game
2:15 This beginning scene here is part of the cancelled Clone Wars Utapau arc, which is one out of 10 total arcs which Disney sadly cancelled when they decided to cancel the clone wars show after taking over star wars in 2013. You can still watch the full unfinished Utapau arc, alongside some of the other 9 unfinished arcs in their unfinished form on YT I think. That is also why the voices here sound so good since the voice actors actually voiced most of the unfinished arcs already.
It hits even harder for me because I just finished all of Clone Wars earlier this year 💔

THIS IS THE BEEEEEEEEEEST. My biggest fear of the clone wars ending was not getting animated revenge of the sith content. And HELLO THERE JUST DROPPED A FUCKING NEW CLONE WARS EPISODE ON US!
While it’s not on par with the animation in Clone Wars Season 7 (and parts of TOTJ and BB), it’s still really high quality for what it’s adapting and does a good job mixing the Movie scenes to feel like TCW.
That intro does give me some hope for future fans projects though, since there is a chance that one day we'll see a team complete the Unfinished episodes from the Utapou Arc, since that’s the soul Arc we have with the finished audio that S7 Left behind.

I couldn't tell the difference. I legit thought David Feloni or some of the animators did this fanmade animation themselves.
13:17 sorry to keep commenting, but I thought I’d answer your question here. Palpatine didn’t have a suit ready. Legends and novelizations often reveal details that aren’t said in movies and shows because they can’t fit everything.
The explanation here is that this suit (though badass) was cobbled together from old parts. It wasn’t perfect and Vader was constantly uncomfortable or in pain, which fueled his rage. Another reason is that the suit was in a way a punishment for Vaders failure on Mustafar, which I mentioned in my other comment. So basically, the suit was hastily cobbled together and Palpatine was okay with this because it would be uncomfortable and painful, which he saw as punishment for Vader’s failure.
4:36-5:00 That exchange along with most of the dialogue in this fan film comes from "LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga", which had Matt Lanter and James Arnold Taylor reprise their roles as Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi respectively.
5:25-5:31 Yes, new parts were added in this fan film. In ROTS, we had to shift back and forth from Obi-Wan vs Anakin on Mustafar to Yoda vs Darth Sidious in the Senate Building.
Without a doubt, this is my #1 favorite Star Wars fan film. The Obi-Wan vs Anakin duel on Mustafar from ROTS is my #1 favorite lightsaber duel in the entire franchise, so seeing it in TCW animation was a dream come true. I enjoyed seeing you react to this, Chainsaw Reacts.
10:24 I think the clone wars makes it pretty clear that Anakin still was and is the chosen one since he did in the end fulfill his prophecy (and then Disney changed the story again).
Honestly my fav parts of this was the wide shots! and the in betweens from the yoda fight!

Canonically and in general, they made the suit after he was injured. The movie doesn't do it well, but several days occur as they operate on Anakin. Old parts from General Grievous were also recovered and used in the creation of the suit, along with Sith Alchemy. Palpatine purposefully created the suit to torture and punish Darth Vader for his failure on Mustafar. The suit constantly caught on Anakin's burnt flesh and caused him a ton of extra pain.

When I hear Obi-Wan say "only a sith deals in absolutes." I always laugh because that's an absolute. 😂
It's funny that many "fans" have forgotten these important scenes.
In my opinion, this should’ve been added to the clone whores series finale. It’s a shame they skipped over it.

A lot of the stuff that you don’t remember from the movie were deleted scenes and ideas Nick Gillard had that never got made. These amazing fans added that stuff in to also pay homage to George Lucas Star Wars
4:22, 6:18 some of these scenes that are "new" here are from the Episode III deleted scenes from their fight cause there was a lot of footage that was changed and cut from everything that was filmed for their fight
this is animated for one long fight. The cuts in the movie were not added so i think they added new fight scenes to fill the gaps. Which are amazing!!
16:16 hey the Clone Wars cast reprised their roles for the LEGO game and it is actually has the last credits for Yoda and Admiral Yularen’s voice actor, the legendary Tom Kane. He’s not dead just retired.

What people miss is Anakins last jump. Anakin tried to finish Kenobi the exact way Kenobi took out Maul. However Kenobi owns that move. His defensive light saber style enabled him to see the weakness in it and strike the final blow. Anakin couldn't see it because of his aggressive style.

I just realized how easily Obi-Wan could've just used the Force to swipe the droid away as Anakin tried to land on it
He was still trying to reason with him up until the point he said "Well then you are lost!!", right then he knew there was no coming back for Anakin..yet at least. But you are right, but then we wouldn't have our best emotional scene of Revenge of the Sith if it were that easy.
@@SledRider-bf3ih I think it adds to the emotional weight, when you notice all the easy ways Obi-Wan could've ended it but didn't. He could've cut the line Anakin was swinging on, he could've moved the droid out of the way, or Force pushed Anakin as he was trying to jump onto the droid. He could've used the Force to throw lava at him, or push him off the platform as he almost lost his balance. But he took none of those chances because it's like he told Yoda. Anakin was his brother and he couldn't bring himself to kill him. It's the same reason he left him burning instead of making sure he was dead. He'd rather not be there when Anakin died and he'd rather not be the direct cause of it. I saw someone breaking down the move he used to dismember Anakin and how it was a technique the Jedi rarely did because of how gruesome it was. There was probably a different move Obi-Wan could've done to straight up kill Anakin in that moment, but he still couldn't do it and chose to end the fight, but leave him alive.

@@ChainsawReacts I haven't watched many of them either, over the years. BUT, this one is very much worth watching. This 25-minute, high quality production, short film is more engaging, and has more likable, authentic original characters, than much of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Andor. I actually consider the few new characters introduced in the short film part of actual Lucas-verse canon. Their story could easily fit right in to the overall story of Star Wars: Outlaws and, a little later on the timeline, The Mandoverse. Like TCW: The Battle Of The Heroes, I wonder if George Lucas and Dave Filoni have seen Sands Of Fate? They'd make a great double feature in a theatrical setting. Certainly a better theatrical viewing experience than Episodes VIII and IX.
