I want to share something, I hope you guys don't think I feel "holier than thou".
But the Lord taught me that when I eat junk food I'm full and don't want to eat real food.
Same in the spiritual. When I'm full of social media, TV, sports, gossip, (junk food), I'm not hungry for His Word.
I listened to the Lord and have read almost the whole NT in a week. I'm a slow reader and I drift a lot. But I'm so hungry, I can't wait to get home and read His Word. It's pretty crazy!!!
Anyone can do it. Just stop eating junk food.

Pastor was on fire 🔥I was convicted and definitely at fault. Nonetheless, I was challenged by the word of God.

The Word of God is an exquisite delicacy that is meant to be savor and reflected upon.
It's not for speed reading. A bible reading /study partner and myself were in the habit of reading 2 chapters each weekday, which was followed by texting our bible takeaways to one another.
It took us roughly 2.5 years to go through the bible twice. I am now reading one chapter per week day followed by reading study notes on each chapter.
It's therapeutic, enriching and making me a better Christian.
thats impressive, idk that i could do it, would be hard to retain anything reading that fast too.
I don't know but I'm up for the challenge I just got a king James and Amplified parallel bible I'm wanting to read it every month and desiring to stay and pray to abide in Christ

Because in His Holy Ancient Book of HIS-STORY people (earthlings) may know HIM CLEARLY and LOVE HIM more DEARLY. The Complete Holy Hebrew Scripture ( Holy Tanach and Holy Brit Chadasha - Genesis to Revelation ) is the only living loving book of the Self Existant Eternally Living Loving Almighty LORD GOD KING GREAT I AM God of Avraham, Yitzhak v’ Ya’akov. HE LEAVE HIS ANCIENT HOLY BOOK OF HIS- STORY FOR YOU AND FOR ME BELOVED. Baruch Shem kevod malchuto l’olam va’ed. Bashem Adonai Elohai YESHUA HaMoshiach. Todah rabah Beloved Ruach Hakodesh. Hallelujah amen v’ amen.
These are reasons that at times give me doubt. No where in the Bible in the NT dies it say anything about a fire outside of Jerusalem after Jesus death. He said the bibles records that. I've never read that.
Friend, Pastor Tim is referring to Luke 24: 13-32. The burning/fire is verse 32.
