Great cabin, beautiful scenery outside, electricity isn't always necessary for a full and comfortable life......good to see the dog dressed warm, too. Awesome video, thanks for sharing ❤❤
I agree! I like it. Wouldn't take much to modern it some. Maybe clear a small area for solar. Throw some wire at it with a light pole outside somewhere. Cool place Man !! 🤙🍻🙂
You have a very beautiful spot there your videos are always relaxing I just love looking at your rustic cabin and your beautiful surroundings you always dress very nicely and your dog is very cute I forget her name😊🐕 also your phone quality for video is very good 👍 any overnighters in the future 👍
@northernwoodsman the glow of the fire in the ambience of the lanterns and just you making food I seen your overnighter it was good anything you post is good
The camera clarity seems better than ever. Its funny your dog is perfectly content with a stick for hours. Get a pair of wool pants for the winter. More durable than cotton and much warmer.
Nice cabin. A 300 watt/ watt hour power station and a Silvel diesel heater. It will run on the 12 volt socket. It will start off at 110 watts and then lower to 10 watts. That will get the heat going faster than the wood burning stove. You can use both. This is what I do.
I wish you a good, healthy and happy new year! Go to this beautiful place as often as you can, because it is good for the mind and soul.🐕🦺 Give your dog a hug for me🐕🦺 Warm greetings from Germany🕊🍀✌
(This is Tom, not Sandra.) Love the video, Sir!! What's your dog's name? She is sweet. I love all of the antiques in your cabin. I really like the vintage red thermometer, the yellow Bread Box on the top shelf behind you and the other vintage items all around. You must be an old soul....someone who loves the good old days. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us online, Sir. That's a very cozy cabin you built there. Could you do a video of all of your decorations....antiques and such, in an upcoming video? That would be really neat. Thank you for sharing a part of your passions with us all, Sir. Take care and may GOD bless you and yours. (Tom)
Good idea. I could cover some old stuff I have in the cabin. I am indeed an old soul. I love old stuff. I have more to bring but I'd rather not walk and use my snowmobile to haul stuff 😊. The dogs name is penny 😁
@northernwoodsman , thank you for your reply, Sir. Penny is a great name for a pet. I am an old soul myself. I was born in the late 1950's and l love old things from my childhood during the 1960's. Keep making those great videos. You have a very nice cabin there. Take good care of it.

If you grab some coal and start a fire you could heat up that axe head and turn one edge into a hammer . Those axes are so dangerous. I don't want a heater. And it would take forever compared to the stove. I have one and it's not what I'd want for the cabin

You do get use to the dark evenings under candle light with mirrors reflectors .
I found I woke up with the day light.
I like the good old ways better. One led could light up the entire cabin but I don't like the look and feel.
