Thanks for the detailed analysis on 3d rendered images. I'm a 3d artist myself with 2 years of experience, but we still prefer a product shoot over 3d rendered images. This is because 3d rendered images are not easy to make, they cost more time, so more money. There is a big difference between average 3d rendering and good 3d rendering, I mean a really big one. For a lot of products, it's better to just do a product shoot in my eyes, but Anthony did make some great points that for some instances using 3d rendering is better.

@Anthony Cofrancesco Hi Anthony, thanks for the intro. I would like to know how much does it cost per photo compared to the traditional photo shooting. I was told by my designer it may take at least 1 day for her to create one 3d render photo, which means a 7 photo on amazon listing will took her more than a week which is why she will charge me more than the photoshop work. what is the price as you know? thanks

Minimum for one image you will pay £50 Which most wrong colour and sizes
entire studio team of 8 years just for fired because company thinks 3D rendering is the future. I can tell you first hand. 3d rendering takes too long to do. sometimes for a complicated item can take 2 weeks. goodluck. companies need to realize standard photography will always remain. stop trying to reinvent the wheel
