In all these Synchron Player videos, you are choosing from the “Preset” menu. I have many choices in the “Patch” menu , but I cannot get any of them to load into the player
do you guys over at VSL plan to release a 30 day demo for the SE's with the new Ilok swap? I'm heavily considering buying this, but I'd really like to try it and use it in context of my own style before buying it
Thanks for your interest! You are always safe with our 14-days return option: www.vsl.info/en/tutorials/faqs/sales#returnpolicy And I'm sure there will be a special offer with demo licenses in the coming months. Make sure that you receive our newsletter! - Paul
"simple things - lot's of fun" :) But hey @VSL, I am still struggling with adding more instruments to a patch. How can I stack one string quartett together? Or how can I arrange a full orchestra like I used to do in the Vienna Ensemble Service Editor?
So if you buy the Volume 1 Plus, you will use the Plus instruments they have all the none plus articulations as well? I Don¨t get why they have been divided I thought Plus added articulations not new versions of the instruments? Seems I have to redo my templates if I get the Plus expansion...
Hi Cube, the "Volume 1 PLUS" adds more articulations to your existing "Volume 1", it's an extension. Therefore the same instruments are included but with different articulations. You can find an overview here ;-) Volume 1 PLUS: www.vsl.co.at/Synchronized_Special_Edition_Vol1_Plus#!Sample_Content Volume 1: www.vsl.co.at/Synchronized_Special_Edition_Vol1#!Sample_Content
The Synchron Player is mono-timbral, meaning it ignores the MIDI channel. But all instances share loaded samples in RAM, minimizing the required RAM load when loading multiple instances of the same instrument. But in case you want to work with 16 channels in your DAW, you will get free access to Vienna Ensemble (non-Pro) which can host all our plugins and allows to route each MIDI channel to a player instance. - Ben
@@ViennaSymphonicLibrary Thanks. So the free Vienna enssemble can receive multiple MIDI inputs and can route multiple audio outputs to the DAW's mixer.
Yes, and you can also make use of MIDI ports if your DAW supports these (multiplys the MIDI channels available for input). You can set the number of MIDI ports and Audio Outputs in the settings. Also, you can route, mix and even use FX plugins in Ensemble before the signal goes back to your DAW. In combination with the save/restore feature you can easily create a starting point that you can simply recall in new projects. Read more about Ensemble here: www.vsl.info/manuals/ve6/ve-service And if you like Ensemble, the Ensemble 7 Pro is currently on sale. This one includes more features and allows you to host 3rd party instruments like Kontakt, ... as well.
Hallo, jedes Keyboard ist geeignet. In dem Fall war es ein Kawai Masterkeyboard und eine Faderbox von Faderfox (wird leider nicht mehr hergestellt). -Paul
Vienna Symphonic Library wow that was simple. I just assumed since the position was baked in that it would be more difficult to change. Thanks for the quick response
No, you don't need MIR for Synchron Series Libraries and SYNCHRON-ized Libraries, since the first were recorded at Synchron Stage Vienna, and the latter come with the built-in convolution reverb of Synchron Stage Vienna.
Hi Al, absolutely! Not only because of the new instruments (including an amazing Steinway D "light") and the great upgrade pricing (€47), but also because of the Synchron Player, the production-ready sound out of the box, and the time-saving and inspiring interface. "Simple things, lots of fun" - you guys are so criminally underrated. LOVE!
Thanks for the heads ☝.
I am so buying this. Full orchestral instruments and good articulations, while only costing about 300 euros.

super sounding library, one question tough, why is orchestral strings slot D empty?,is there no legato recorded?
Is there midi iPad app whereby you can use large labelled buttons to switch between Long, Short, Legato articulations etc? Rather than use the keys?
nice video

You can still use Vienna Ensemble in combination with the Synchron Player! Just make sure to install the latest update :)
What is that little controller on you left?
Hi, it's called "Faderfox"

Symchron Player works like Kontakt? That is, can you route 16 midi tracks to the Synchron Player and then route 16 audio outputs to the DAW's mixer?

Hello,
what is the masterkeyboard you are using?
Thank you.
Hi, that's a Kawai MP9500. Paul/VSL
Is it possible to move the position of the instruments? I like my double basses in the center instead of on the right.
Feel free to adjust the panning of the instruments in the players mixer :)

So do I need MIR if all is already ready out of the box?
No, you don't need MIR for Synchron Series Libraries and SYNCHRON-ized Libraries, since the first were recorded at Synchron Stage Vienna, and the latter come with the built-in convolution reverb of Synchron Stage Vienna.
I have VI Special Editins, V.1, would Synchron Player be an improvement on it?

@@ViennaSymphonicLibrary I own the VI SE 1+. How much would be an upgrade and how do I select it? Do I need to install a lot of new samples?
