  • This is an easy fast way to XP Farm in Starfield. Using your ship to farm hostile enemies this is the best exploit method I have found to gain experience and level up quick and get a ton of skill points in Starfield without the need for an Outpost.

    An exploitless xp farm. I love it. Other farms just break the immersion. This one is legitimately part of the game

      It is an exploit. It’s exploiting a intended feature/mechanic. Exploiting is not necessarily a bad thing, it just depends on what you’re exploiting.

    • @urxtoxicxface1
      @urxtoxicxface1 11 месяцев назад +2

      Well I feel like not really having a negative consequence for easily changing the difficulty is an exploit. Thus allowing you to go up against high level enemies that on normal or higher difficulty, most would struggle.

      Starfield is my first Bethesda game and I'm really not wanting to continue because of the grind and the frequent breaks in immersion. I've also tried some of the more annoying XP/credit farm strategies and hated how tedious they were.
      This strategy may convince me to keep going, thank you. Since it, know, actually involves playing the game lol

    Just put 6 of the Vanguard Obliterator Autoprojector's on your ship and you will destroy everything in your path! They do 11 damage to shields and armor and have a high rate of fire making their dps insane! They also have one of the longest ranges so you can start shooting and hitting enemy's before they can hit you! They are easy to get, and you only have to do a few of the Vanguard missions to get access to them.

      I completely agree. Six Vanguard Obliterator Autoprojectors are BY FAR the best possible weapon set, regardless of level. You don't want anything else. (Later, you might want to add an EM weapon bank for capturing ships more easily.) By the way, you only have to do the very first mission to unlock the Vanguard Obliterator Autoprojectors, if my memory serves.

    Yet another great multi-functional xp farm. I use this one to also farm numbers for upping ship and pilot skills, the husbandry one for weapon skills, the outpost one for credits (trade for ammo mainly), and the abandoned station ones for everything else. Went from 45 to 100 with my playstyle skills maxed out in a single night. Thanks!!

    Just use particle beams and lasers, beams are OP, or beams and suppressors if you wanna board ships.
    For 3rd weapon maybe add a turret pointing backwards for when you are getting tailed and use it with low power.

    The problem with Starfield is: there is sooooooo much stuff to do! I looked at the skill tree and counted: 5 categories, 82 skills with 4 ranks each --> this makes a total of 328 XP points you can spend... 😮😮
    Btw: I'm currently at rank 32 and haven't even manage to level up "Ship Building" yet - because other stuff was more important. The grind is real! 😁😁

  • @Skyblade12
    @Skyblade12 11 месяцев назад +1

    The Vanguard Obliterator Autoprojectors are the best low level weapon in the game. They are A class, and you can fit six of them on your ship. They are the second best ship weapon in the game overall, behind only the PBO-Auto Helion Beam. They have no level requirement, you only have to complete the very first Vanguard quest that takes you to Tau Ceti. Since they are only locked by a single mission, that you can do as soon as you get to New Atlantis, just a bit of talking, they’re really easy to get, and they’re available at an incredibly low level overall. That mission also unlocks the Vanguard Hellion Autocannon, which is by far the best Ballistic ship weapon in the game (seriously, it has nearly double the burst DPS of the next best ballistic ship weapon). It’s a B class, but still good and open early. Oh, and they have the second best B class shield. Seriously, if you want to do anything with ships, it is worth doing that mission immediately. You save so much money in the long run by getting those good weapons on your ship immediately.

    just make sure you have 4 skillpoints.
    cause you can then enter tier c ships what would stuff easier.

    I think there's actually a better a tier gun at new Atlantis to use for this and it's the PBO 3300. And not the auto version. I don't know the damage is as high as the PBO 30s you used (I think they are though) but they never run out of energy. You can fire endlessly without a cool down period.

    My strat is slower but easier on low levels.
    Take the freestar(not sure if this helps with ranger rewards or not) and wanted traits.
    Take the bounty hunter background. 3 points in tech tree for free.
    Join the vanguard. Get the weapons
    Start to Join the rangers to get their mission board.
    Take all ship missions from rangers board and the one at hitching post on Akila.
    Grab a tier of scavenging for the credits. Then focus on piloting, shields, particle beams, and em(if you want to capture a few ships).
    Kill and loot all missions and head back to Akila to sell and repeat.
    On jemison if you jump boost up to the ledge on the left of the starport right before you hit the ramp there are mission boards closer than the viewport bar.
    Like i said its slower. But it keeps the new player closer to the safer systems and lets you take a break and go do a quest or two.

    The Vanguard autocannons are a major upgrade to the PBO-30 and are in fact one of the best ship weapons in the entire game. You get access to them after the first Vanguard mission. The Vanguard Obliterator Autoprojector are better than the autocannons. The autocannons do 18 hull and 5 shield damage with a fire rate of 7.5 were the Autoprojector does 11/11 damage and a fire rate of 6.5; The biggest difference is that the autocannons only have a range of 800 were the Autoprojectors have a range of 3,000.

    This is definitely a better xp grind than the outpost crafting or animal farm nonsense that completely breaks immersion. If you're going to use those methods then you may as well just use the console to cheat your levels. But you can get xp way faster than this by simply going to a high level planet relative to your own level that has a high concentration of fauna and farming the creatures. The only benefit of this method over that is that this method doesn't consume ammo. But by the time you're looking at doing xp farming it's likely at the point where you've finished all the major content in the game and you're just doing it to be able to fully flesh out a skill build so you can see just how effective a particular skill combo is. And at that point you should be swimming in ammo.

    There is absolutely no point putting all those weapons on your ship. You don't have half the power you need to actually power them all. So unless you're dumping all available power into the specific weapon group you're using at that exact moment then they're not functioning at their full capacity. If you're splitting the available power between all three weapon groups and leaving it there then your weapons are only functioning at around 40-45% of their capacity and they drain faster and take forever to recharge.
    You're much better off sticking with only the amount of weapons you can actually fully power at all times.

      I haven't tried it in a bit. Ill test it out later tonight. There hasn't been any major updates since this video came out so I cant imagine its been nerfed. I have noticed quite a bit of variance between peoples games which might have to do with current level.

    If you're low-level you're not going to make it through Kryx, so this is bullshit.

      Not true. I am a low low level as shown in the video started at level 12. Make sure when you get to the KRYX to immediately grab drive out of there. You can do this while being attacked.

      No XP remains the same at any level. In my case I was trying to use this method with a class A low level ship to help some of the newbies. Once you get a class C I bump up the difficulty.

    I'm doing more xp with my outpost. I play on xbox, using moded controller and a rubberband from my gf. Farming aluminium and iron..with the workbench and a bed for filling up my reserves. I can gain 320XP in a second 😊 for those who dont have a modded controller; put a rubberband on the left stick (pull to the right) and you can spam RB on the controller. Every tap is 10+ on the workbench 😌👍🏼 trust me....nothing faster than this 😘

    I'll try that location out. I'm not really low level (currently lvl 46). Just bought the Shieldbreaker and want to try it out. I took off the missile launcher and the balistic gun and put one some partical cannons (since I have lvl 4 in that) but kept the auto cannons to see how good they are. Haven't gotten into any fights yet but that system seems like it'll work.

    • @circuitscore
      @circuitscore  11 месяцев назад

      Should still work for higher levels! That system will for sure be a good place to do some tests on your new upgrades.

    Low level 3300 disruptor beams not the autos. 4 of them and 4 of the pb30 non auto. Won’t ever have to worry about running out of ammo and waiting for recharge. And will sink anything and everything

  • @rparavicini

    Serpentis is great for A class ship farming. Dirge III has the most powerful Class A reactor (33 Power), the third best Class A shield generator (730 shield), and 4 of the strongest Class A engines (3220 Man Thrust). The only thing lacking is the Cargo, but that is easily fixed, as the most efficient cargo module are available right from the start. And the Dige II and I are also nothing to laugh about (23 and 20 power). Same goes for the Trebuchet ships, as they are identical to the Dirge (same for Revelation and Stormrider, just that there is no Revelation III).

  • @stuartd6359
    @stuartd6359 11 месяцев назад +2

    I built an outpost in Serpentis IV, it’s got plenty of aliens to kill for XP while down on the planet. If you create a landing pad with shipbuilder option it’s a nice place to just chill, upgrade your ships then test them against the Va’Ruun ships in the local system. Try different builds and see how well they do in combat. Good fun.
