    I love Honegger!! Especially because he wrote a piece for bass (kind of)!

      tchaikoffkey -- Yes! "Kind of".....Fun! Yet, when you grow up you'll see that there are So Many Reasons to "love Honegger".....!

      Why is this a 1st for me hearing double sonata without piano surely not the only 1

      @@daniel3231995 There are other great works like this, e.g. Ravel's sonata for violin and cello, Kodaly's duo for violin and cello, and Prokofiev's sonata for two violins (Ysaye wrote a sonata for two violins too, but I haven't listened to it properly yet, so can't vouch for it).

    I’ve always considered Honegger to be the “Brahms” of Le Six. Not sure why .
