For instance if a realtor makes 150k in commission, tax is calculated on commissions OR the commission amount minus rent, car parents, marketing cost , travelling cost etc.? Quick question - I received a BC PNP nomination can I avoid foreign buyer tax while buying a house in Ontario ? Do you have idea ? I am aware I can avoid foreign buyer tax of 20% in BC though . If i can avoid in Ontario too, the I will buy one in windsor , let me know.
as far as I'm aware you need to have PR to buy property in Ontario now if you wanna avoid foreign buyer tax (now 25%), except if you are married and your spouse is PR holder

Who does snow shoveling? Landlord or tenant ? If Landlord do you count that as expense and then consider the remaining for cash flow?

How you can avoid in BC ?
End of dec 2023 interest rate will be around 6.5% so i think you have to put extra payment from your pocket 1.5% .....
it may, so that's why I think we(investors) have to put extra money put aside for those unknowns if we wanna hold the property for the long run.
